Job Title: Senior Video Editor Experience: 2-4 years Location: Gurugram (On-site) Overview We're looking for a Senior Video Editor who can craft engaging video content across formats and platforms. From brand films and digital video ads to social media reels and long-forms, you'll bring stories to life with sharp editing, motion graphics, sound design, and post-production polish. While your core responsibility will be editing, you should also have a good understanding of videography to support shoots when needed. You'll work closely with our in-house creatives - writers, designers, and DOPs to ensure the final output is not just visually appealing but also aligned with business objectives. Key Responsibilities - Edit video content across various formats. - Refine footage with cutting, color correction, sound design, transitions, and motion graphics. - Interpret scripts and creative briefs to build engaging visual narratives. - Support on video shoots when needed (camera operation, lighting setup, framing). - Add motion elements (text overlays, animated graphics, effects) to enhance storytelling. - Ensure platform-specific edits are optimized for YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc. - Maintain organized project files, backups, and versioning workflows. - Collaborate with the creative team on timelines, creative direction, and revisions. - Edit raw footage into polished videos that align with project objectives, brand guidelines, and target audience preferences. - Enhance videos with graphics, animations, sound effects, and music to elevate the overall production value. Requirements - 2-4 years of experience in video editing, preferably in an agency or content-focused brand setup. - Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro or similar programs. - Solid understanding of post-production workflows, storytelling, pacing, and transitions. - Experience with color grading, audio balancing, and creating platform-ready final exports. - Basic knowledge of camera gear, lighting, and on-set best practices. - Ability to take feedback constructively and make quick turnarounds. - Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work under tight deadlines. - A portfolio showcasing a range of editing work across formats is mandatory. - Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and project requirements.
