A person who communicates with customers, understands their questions as well as solves complex technical issues. You will become the subject matter expert in Enterprise Wireless and Wired Networks. ***Job Family Definition:*** Designs, develops, troubleshoots and debugs software programs for software enhancements and new products. Develops software including operating systems, compilers, routers, networks, utilities, databases and Internet-related tools. Determines hardware compatibility and/or influences hardware design. ***Management Level Definition:*** Contributes to assignments of limited scope by applying technical concepts and theoretical knowledge acquired through specialized training, education, or previous experience. Acts as team member by providing information, analysis and recommendations in support of team efforts. Exercises independent judgment within defined parameters. **What you ll do:** ***Responsibilities:*** - Meet or exceed customer expectations on response quality, timeliness of responses and overall customer experience. - Build and maintain layer 2/3 network testbeds. - Understand features and reproduce customer issues. - File tickets on bugs found. - Analyze logs and pinpoint root causes. - Work with developers and drive solutions. - Participate in relevant meetings and discussions and provide status reports. - Ask good questions. **What you need to bring:** ***Education and Experience Required:*** - BA/BS/MS in EECS or related subject area - Experience level: 5~8 years ***Knowledge and Skills:*** - Knowledge in Layer 2 and Layer 3 Networking - Knowledge in 802.11 Wi-Fi standards - Juniper Router & Switch Certifications is a plus HPE is an Equal Employment Opportunity/ Veterans/Disabled/LGBT employer.
