SER-SL Functional Analyst - Oracle Americas At Johnson Controls, we help customers create smarter, healthier, and more sustainable buildings through technology, service, and operational excellence. In this role, you will support Oracle Fusion processes that help service teams deliver reliable outcomes and respond effectively to business needs across the Americas. Role Overview We are looking for a Functional Analyst with 4-6 years of experience to support Oracle Fusion Service Logistics initiatives. You will work closely with business users, functional teams, and technical partners to analyze requirements, improve service processes, support testing and issue resolution, and help ensure stable operations after deployment. Key Responsibilities • Gather and analyze business requirements for Oracle Fusion Service Logistics and related service processes. • Translate functional needs into clear process designs, solution recommendations, and support documentation. • Support system configuration validation, functional testing, user acceptance testing, and defect triage. • Partner with business stakeholders and technical teams to resolve issues and improve end-to-end process flow. • Monitor post-go-live performance and help stabilize solutions through issue analysis and corrective actions. • Document functional requirements, process flows, test scenarios, and knowledge-transfer materials. • Support ongoing improvements that strengthen service delivery, reliability, and user experience. How You Will Do It • Stay close to the work by understanding the real service logistics process end to end and removing obstacles for users. • Own outcomes with accountability by following issues through to closure, protecting data integrity, and escalating risks early. • Improve every day through root-cause analysis, candid problem-solving, and practical process enhancements. • Win as one team by collaborating with functional, technical, and business partners and respecting diverse perspectives. • Use disciplined documentation, structured testing, and clear communication to support stable releases and smooth handovers. • Apply Agile and DevOps-oriented ways of working where they are used, keeping work visible, coordinated, and focused on quality. Qualifications • 4-6 years of experience in Oracle Fusion functional analysis, business analysis, or a similar enterprise applications role. • Hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Service Logistics or closely related Oracle Cloud service processes. • Strong understanding of requirement gathering, process mapping, solution analysis, and functional support. • Experience supporting testing, user acceptance testing, defect management, and post-implementation stabilization. • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate business needs into practical solutions. • Ability to prepare clear functional documentation, process flows, and support materials. • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Nice to Have • Exposure to Oracle Fusion Subscription Management Cloud (SMC), Maintenance Cloud (MC), or B2B Service. • Familiarity with Agile delivery methods and DevOps-oriented support practices. • Experience contributing to process improvement or continuous improvement initiatives.
