**Service Asia > Service Operation South > Karnataka 1** Customer Service Department handles Post-sales Service Operations to meet the contractual obligations with customers **Responsibilities** - Follow the high level of safety culture and standards as per company requirements - Attend to break down maintenance on call; ensure WTGs and related equipments are maintained in neat and technically acceptable conditions according to standard engineering practices - Document the work done indicating consumption of spares/ consumables, list further actions along with targeted completion dates - Report abnormalities and take corrective action in consultation with the Supervisors - Keep up to date with all operating/ maintenance manuals, checklists, service bulletins, etc. applicable to the WTG and associated equipment, carry out servicing activities as per the latest certified checklists, manuals and service bulletins - Ensure safety and care of all tools, tackles, measuring instruments and spare parts in custody - Comply with all HSE / ISO all other statutory requirements - Ensure office and guest house are maintained in good condition and monitor the performance of security personnel/ operators, report non-compliances - Assist in the sub-assembly of WTG components at the factory premises whenever required - Rectification of Mechanical, Electrical and hydraulic Break Downs of the Wind Turbines - Analyzing the performance of the turbines and Preparing performance Reports - Major work like Blade, Gearbox, Generator and main shaft replacement added advantage - Experience in Unit substation maintenance and rectification of Unit sub-station related breakdown added advantage - Knowledge in SAP S/4HANA added advantage - Knowledge in basics of Computer, MS-Excel, MS-Word and Power BI **Qualifications** - Diploma or Degree - Mechanical, Electrical or Electronics - Minimum 3 to 6 years working experience in Wind turbine Generator - Good communication in English / Kannada is must and Hindi is additional advantage **Competencies** - Willingness to promote Vestas commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging - Ability to read, comprehend and write in English - Ability to climb stairs and ladders 60-150 meters in height - Ability to effectively participate in all training courses, including high-angle rescue - Able to work in demanding physical and inclement weather conditions - Comfortable working remotely with limited supervisory interaction - Should be Flexible as the position requires travelling and unplanned overtime may occur **Additional Information** Your primary site location will be Anywhere in Karnataka.
