Servicenow Developer - ITOM

Job description

**Must-Have** : - **5+ years of ServiceNow development experience** with a focus on **ITOM applications**. - Strong knowledge of **Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and Orchestration**. - Proficiency in **JavaScript, Glide API, MID Server configuration, and IntegrationHub**. - Hands-on experience integrating with monitoring tools (**SolarWinds, Splunk, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Nagios**). - Experience in **CMDB architecture, CI classes, relationships, and reconciliation rules**. - ServiceNow **Certified System Administrator (CSA)**. - ServiceNow **Certified Implementation Specialist ITOM** (preferred). - Good understanding of **ITIL v4 processes** (Event, Incident, Change, Configuration). - **Develop and configure ServiceNow ITOM modules** including: - **Discovery & CMDB population** (using probes, sensors, and patterns). - **Service Mapping** to define application dependencies. - **Event Management** with third-party monitoring tools - Design and maintain **custom workflows, Business Rules, Script Includes, and Flow Designer automations**. - Build **integrations with monitoring and CMDB tools** via REST/SOAP APIs, MID Servers, and IntegrationHub. - Ensure **CMDB data accuracy** and compliance with ITIL processes. - Troubleshoot and optimize **Discovery schedules, patterns, and classification rules**. - Collaborate with ITSM, SecOps, and ITAM teams for cross-module integrations. - Support **platform upgrades, patches, and feature enhancements** for ITOM applications. **Good-to-Have** : - CMDB Implementation, Integration, Service Migration & Operations - ITOM & ITAM, Performance Analytics Module Expertise is mandatory - CSDM Module Basics - ServiceNow Discovery Specialist - CMDB Development Experience(Scripting) - Discovery methods, Dynamic Service Mapping , Tag based Discovery concepts, Cloud based discovery - Workflow , business rules , custom scripts, validations rules, - Data attestation - Reports & Dashboards - interactive dashboard creation CMDB Administration And support
