Servicenow Tester

Job description

**Key Responsibilities:** - Design and execute **test strategies, test plans, and test cases** for ServiceNow applications - Develop, maintain, and execute **ATF test scripts and test suites** - Automate regression and functional testing using **ServiceNow ATF** - Validate configurations across modules like **ITSM, HRSD, CSM, ITOM** - Work closely with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand requirements - Perform **functional, regression, integration, and UAT support** - Identify defects, track them, and ensure timely resolution - Ensure **test coverage and quality standards** are met for all releases - Support **release cycles and CI/CD pipeline integration with ATF** - Mentor junior testers and drive testing best practices **Required Skills:** - Strong experience in **ServiceNow testing (manual + automation)** - Hands-on expertise in **Automated Test Framework (ATF)** - Good understanding of **ServiceNow modules (ITSM preferred)** - Knowledge of **test management tools** (JIRA, TestRail, etc.) - Experience with **JavaScript basics and ServiceNow scripting (for ATF customization)** - Familiarity with **REST/SOAP integrations testing** - Understanding of **ITIL processes** **Preferred Skills:** - ServiceNow certifications: - CSA (Certified System Administrator) - CIS (any module) - Experience with **Agile/Scrum methodology** - Exposure to **CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Git)** - Knowledge of performance or security testing
