Shift Engineer

**About the Role** - The Shift Engineer operates in rotating shifts to ensure uninterrupted functioning of critical facility systems. This role focuses on monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting equipment to deliver a safe, secure, and comfortable environment for occupants while ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards. **Key Responsibilities** - Ensure optimal performance of buildings, utilities, and critical equipment through effective maintenance and monitoring. - Identify, assess, and resolve maintenance and operational issues in coordination with internal teams and service partners. - Execute preventive maintenance schedules for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire, and security systems. - Maintain heating and cooling systems, motors, pumps, and plumbing infrastructure. - Monitor and service boilers, generators, electrical panels, switches, and circuit breakers. - Support maintenance of HVAC, irrigation, alarm, and life-safety systems. - Prepare estimates for repair and maintenance work, prioritizing tasks based on criticality. - Supervise, guide, and support technicians including electricians, plumbers, and multi-skilled staff. - Respond promptly to breakdowns, alarms, and emergency situations. - Track service performance metrics and support reporting and analysis. - Maintain accurate logs, inventories, and ensure timely ordering of spares and consumables. **Qualification and Experience** - Diploma / ITI / Bachelors degree in Engineering or a relevant technical discipline. - Relevant experience in property, facility, or technical assets maintenance **Skills Required** - Strong technical understanding of building systems and equipment. - Hands-on troubleshooting and problem-solving capability. - Good communication, coordination, and reporting skills. - Ability to work independently in a shift-based environment. - Flexibility to work rotating shifts as required. **Whats in it for you?** - Opportunity to manage end-to-end facility operations and asset management. - Collaborative work environment with continuous learning opportunities. - Enhanced Maternity & Paternity support. - No place for discrimination at Godrej Gender-neutral anti-harassment policy - We are selfish about your wellness, hence we offer comprehensive health insurance plans, as well as accident coverage for you and your family. - Godrej Way Structured recognition platforms for individual, team and business-level achievements Performance-based earning opportunities. **An inclusive Godrej** Before you go, there is something important we want to highlight.
