Team members at Ather collaborate across engineering and operations to support the future of mobility. **Role Description** The Shift Incharge – Maintenance role is a full-time, on-site position based in Hosur, responsible for overseeing maintenance activities during assigned shifts. The role involves planning and executing preventive and corrective maintenance for production equipment, utilities, and facility systems to ensure minimal downtime and safe operations. The Shift Incharge will monitor machine performance, coordinate troubleshooting, allocate tasks to maintenance technicians, and ensure timely resolution of breakdowns. This position also includes maintaining maintenance records, supporting root cause analysis, implementing improvement actions, and collaborating with production, quality, and safety teams. The role requires adherence to safety standards, participation in audits, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency. **Qualifications** - Candidates should possess strong technical skills in industrial equipment maintenance, including mechanical systems, electrical systems, and basic electronics. - Candidates should possess skills in preventive and predictive maintenance planning, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for manufacturing machinery. - Candidates should possess experience with maintenance documentation, use of CMMS or maintenance tracking tools, and spare parts management. - Candidates should possess knowledge of safety standards, workplace safety practices, and compliance with relevant industrial regulations. - Candidates should possess team leadership abilities, including shift management, task allocation, and coordination with cross-functional teams. - Candidates should possess effective communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a strong focus on quality and continuous improvement. - Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering discipline from a recognized institution is preferred. - Prior experience in maintenance roles within automotive, EV, or high-volume manufacturing environments will be an advantage.
