Job description

**Role & responsibilities** **Purpose of the Job** To supervise and control all mechanical assembly activities of EOT cranes, ensuring production targets, quality requirements, safety standards, and delivery schedules are achieved efficiently. **Key Responsibilities** **Production** - Plan and execute daily assembly activities as per production schedule. - Allocate manpower according to workload and priorities. - Ensure achievement of daily, weekly, and monthly production targets. - Monitor productivity and minimize assembly delays. **Mechanical Assembly** - Supervise assembly of: - End Carriages Wheels fitment and Align of wheels. - Rope drums, pulleys, Hoist block Assemblies - Trolleys assembly ( MH / AH / CT Drives fittement) - Gearboxes - Wheel Assemblies - Brake Systems - Couplings fittment - Rope Drums - Bearings - Shafts - Hoists - Mechanical Drives - Gas cutting and welding. - Ensure correct fitting, alignment, torque tightening, bearing mounting, and lubrication. - Verify assembly as per approved drawings, BOMs, SOPs, and work instructions. **Quality** - Ensure assemblies comply with engineering drawings and quality standards. - Coordinate with Quality Department for stage and final inspections. - Minimize rejection, rework, and customer complaints. - Participate in root cause analysis and corrective actions. **Planning & Coordination** - Coordinate with: - Stores - Planning (PPC) - Machining - Fabrication - Painting - Quality - Maintenance - Ensure timely availability of materials and tools. - Escalate shortages affecting production. **SAP Responsibilities** - Confirm production orders. - Monitor material availability. - Report shortages. **Preferred candidate profile**
