Develop pre-silicon firmware and software with a direct interface to hardware. Integrate and develop C tests/APIs and software build flow. Perform design and code reviews. Test and validate product implementations. Must have skills : Embedded C Valuable to have skills : NA Minimum 2 Year(s) Of Experience Is Required Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education Summary: As a Silicon Firmware and Embedded Engineer, a typical day involves writing software that controls and operates silicon chips, focusing on developing firmware and software before the silicon is finalized. The role includes creating and integrating tests and application programming interfaces in the C programming language, managing software build processes, and collaborating with team members through design and code reviews. Additionally, the engineer tests and validates product implementations to ensure functionality and performance meet the required standards, contributing to the overall success of silicon product development. Roles \& Responsibilities: Expected to perform independently and become an SME. Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of firmware with hardware components. Maintain thorough documentation of code, tests, and design decisions to support knowledge sharing and future development. Assist junior team members by providing guidance and support to foster their professional growth. Qualified \& Technical Skills: Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Embedded C. Solid understanding of embedded systems architecture and hardware-software interfacing. Experience in developing and debugging firmware for silicon chips. Familiarity with software build systems and version control tools .
