**Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions** (SMR) is a business area of the Sandvik Group and a leading supplier of equipment and tools, services, support and technical solutions for the mining industry and specialist sectors such as quarrying, tunnelling, demolition, dimensional stone, recycling and the civil engineering industry. SMRT's offering covers drilling, mechanical cutting, loading and hauling, demolition and recycling, and various solutions to increase automation. We are looking for a dynamic and an energetic **Site In-Charge.** This position will be based at **Banwas Site.** **Your responsibilities** - Manage day-to-day execution of the Agreed machinery service contract. - Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, KPIs, and SLAs. - Coordinate with mine operations, maintenance, planning, and safety departments. - Monitor contract performance and submit periodic reports to management. - Ensure preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of underground mining equipment. - Plan major overhauls and component replacement schedules. - Ensure timely troubleshooting and root cause analysis of failures. - Optimize equipment reliability and minimize downtime. - Lead and supervise service engineers, technicians, and support staff. - Allocate manpower based on operational priorities. - Monitor team performance, productivity, and discipline. - Ensure strict adherence to mine safety regulations and company HSE standards. - Conduct risk assessments and implement control measures. - Ensure compliance with permit-to-work systems and underground safety procedures. - Promote a strong safety culture among all service personnel. - Act as the primary point of contact for the client at the mine site. - Address customer concerns promptly and professionally. - Coordinate with stores and procurement teams for timely material availability. - Manage shift schedules, leave planning, and workforce deployment. - Control maintenance costs within approved budgets. - Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance reports. - Track machine availability, MTBF, MTTR, and maintenance KPIs. - Maintain service records, inspection reports, and statutory documentation. - Present performance reviews to management and customers. **Required Skills and Qualifications** - Relevant experience in providing technical support for heavy industry equipment’s, site management, people management and customer interaction. - Provide technical support to the site employees and customer personnel - Enhance existing performance, contract revenues and margins by providing significant input into strategic plans for the continued expansion of the business. - Ensure that sites have latest product technology enhancements and are site employees are aware of the latest developments in the market - Ensure timely and appropriate training and development program for site employees - B.E/Diploma with 8+ years of experience. **What We offer** Sandvik offers a competitive total compensation package including comprehensive benefits.
