**Educational Requirements** Bachelor of Engineering,BTech,BCA,BSc,MTech,MSc,MCA **Service Line** Data Analytics Unit **Responsibilities** We are seeking an experienced Snowflake Administrator to manage, optimize, and secure enterprise data warehouse environments on Snowflake. The ideal candidate will be responsible for administration, performance tuning, cost optimization, and data security, ensuring reliable and efficient data operations. - Administer Snowflake accounts, databases, schemas, and warehouses - Configure and manage virtual warehouses (sizing, scaling, auto-suspend/resume) - Handle user management, roles, and privileges (RBAC) - Monitor and optimize query performance and workload execution - Analyze query plans and troubleshoot slow-running queries - Implement best practices for partitioning, clustering, and indexing - Track and optimize Snowflake usage and costs - Implement strategies like Auto-scaling warehouses, Resource monitors, Query optimization - Create usage reports and cost dashboards - Data masking - Row-level security - Column-level security - Manage network policies and encryption settings - Data ingestion using Snowpipe, COPY commands - Integrate with Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) - ETL tools (Informatica, dbt, Airflow, Talend) - Monitor ETL/ELT workflows - Time Travel and Fail-safe features - Perform data recovery and retention management - Define disaster recovery strategies - Monitor Snowflake performance and system health - Troubleshoot query failures, data load issues, and access problems - Maintain audit logs and system usage reports - Automate administrative tasks using SQL scripting / Python - Integrate Snowflake with CI/CD pipelines (Git, Azure DevOps, Jenkins) - Work with infrastructure automation tools (Terraform) **Additional Responsibilities:** - Strong expertise in Snowflake architecture and features - Advanced SQL skills (mandatory) - Snowflake Expertise - Virtual Warehouses - Snowpipe - Time Travel - Fail-safe - Data Sharing - Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) - Technical Skills - Experience with ETL/ELT tools - Knowledge of data modeling (star/snowflake schemas) - Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) **Technical and Professional Requirements:** Primary skills:Domain->Snowflake admin **Preferred Skills:** Domain->Healthcare->Administrative tools; Technology->Data on Cloud-DataStore->Snowflake
