**Full Stack Developer:** **Role Summary:** **The Full Stack Developer will work as an integral member of the Cyient delivery team embedded within BIETC's M&Q Wiring Manufacturing System group. You will independently execute and deliver sprint backlog items - from API development to UI features - across four milestones that modernise EWIRE Web, digital replacement for legacy wiring manufacturing workflows. You are expected to operate with strong ownership, minimal dependency, and the ability to contribute to design decisions as well as hands-on implementation. Two positions are open - one with a stronger frontend and API focus, one with cloud infrastructure and CI/CD specialisation; both are full-stack.** **Key Responsibilities:** **Feature Development:** - **Estimate user stories and tasks with accurate story points and commit to sprint deliverables during PI and sprint planning** - **Contribute actively to backlog refinement/grooming sessions to ensure requirements reach a definition-of-ready state** - **Develop RESTful APIs and backend services in .Net Core for EWIRE Web modules: Routing List Reports, Plugmap, Work Stamping, Discrete Scheduling, and Shift Handover** - **Build responsive, accessible UI screens in Angular - coordinating with BIETC team on UX direction for approximately 7 screens with popup UIs, new feature additions, and RBAC-controlled views (8 user roles)** - **Design, implement, and optimise SQL/Oracle database entities - including data modelling and schema changes to support new features on a 15.8M-record dataset** **Cloud & Infrastructure:** - **Build and deploy TANZU/AWS cloud-native applications using EC2, EKS, Fargate, RDS, and DynamoDB** - **Configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines in GitLab / Azure DevOps; manage Azure Repos and Docker Registry** - **Containerise services using Docker and orchestrate with Kubernetes; support environment provisioning on TANZU** - **Analyse and optimise application performance - load times, API responsiveness, and database query efficiency** **Collaboration & Agile:** - **Participate in Daily Scrum, bi-weekly technical peer code review, bi-weekly agile ceremonies, and quarterly PI Planning** - **Raise impediments and risks proactively to Tech Lead and BIETC Technical Contact with proposed mitigations** - **Deliver working software in accordance with quality standards - minimal rework, thorough documentation** - **Use AI-assisted development tools (Amazon Q, Amazon Kiro, Codex CLI) to support productivity and code quality** - **Follow processes, methodologies, and security protocols; work exclusively in dev environment with scrap data (ITAR)** **Testing & Documentation:** - **Write unit tests, integration tests, and contribute to the end-to-end Selenium/Cucumber test suite alongside every feature delivered** - **Create and maintain technical documentation for APIs, DB changes, and system components in ADO and SharePoint** **Technical Skills & Qualifications** **Frontend:** - **Angular (mandatory)** - **React JS (advantageous)** - **Responsive UI / component architecture** - **Integration with REST APIs** **Backend:** - **.Net Core (mandatory)** - **RESTful API development** - **Microservices patterns** - **Business logic & service layer design** **Databases:** - **SQL Server** - **Oracle** - **Data modelling** - **Query writing & performance tuning** **Cloud & Infrastructure:** - **AWS (EC2, EKS, Fargate, RDS, DynamoDB)** - **VMware TANZU** - **Docker** - **Kubernetes** **CI/CD & DevOps:** - **GitLab CI/CD** - **Azure DevOps (ADO)** - **Azure Repos / GitHub** - **Pipeline configuration & troubleshooting** **Testing:** - **Unit testing (.Net)** - **Selenium WebDriver (working knowledge)** - **Cucumber BDD (working knowledge)** - **API testing** **Tools:** - **Visual Studio 2022 / VS Code** - **ADO Boards & Repos** - **SharePoint** - **Amazon Q / Kiro / Codex CLI** **Process:** - **SAFe / Agile delivery** - **Sprint & PI planning** - **Story point estimation** - **ADO user story management** **Education:** - **Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent** **Behavioural Expectations:** - **Ability to independently execute and deliver on assigned backlog without dependency or handholding** - **Takes full ownership of tasks - proactively communicates risks, impediments, and schedule impacts** - **Follows BIETC processes, methodologies, and tools precisely; adapts quickly to evolving requirements** - **Maintains high ethical standards; safeguards sensitive project and data at all times** - **Works collaboratively with BIETC resources, SMEs (available twice weekly and during standups), and other Cyient team members**
