We are looking for a Software Engineer interested in building engaging and insightful products for managing and visualizing large scale distributed real-time data streams. Data flow is central to how companies operate, and we aim to make that experience intuitive and attractive. As a Front-End Software Engineer, you will be responsible for creating new visualizations and interfaces that scale with Apache Kafka. What Will You Do: To design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software that will touch production and have customer facing impact Follow best practices for software development and participate in code reviews Manage project priorities, deadlines and deliverables Help build the next generation Kafka by continuing to push the boundaries of distributed system design Proficiency in object oriented languages such as Java Experience building and operating multi-tier web applications, including REST APIs Self-starter with the ability to work effectively in teams BS Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience. An advanced degree in computer science is preferred. Work location will be primarily based out of Bangalore.
