Senior Software Engineer  What you will do  Johnson Controls is developing the next generation of smart and connected. Through a fullrange of systems and digital solutions, we make buildings smarter. A smarter building issafer, more comfortable, more efficient, and, ultimately, more sustainable. One of our systems include Miller-Picking® and YORK® Custom Air Handling Units. Thesesystems provide design flexibility that balances performance and economy withoutcompromising quality. With a full line of standard, semi-custom and custom air handlingunits to choose from, we have a system perfectly aligned to any building's needs andbudget. As a Senior Software Engineer within our sustaining software team, you will interface withinternal customers supporting of our engineering, manufacturing, and sales tools. Thesetools help in managing the designing of units for manufacture through automatedengineering rules processing. You will be a key contributor in the maintenance, design, andsupport of these solutions through process, architecture, and technology advancement.  In this role you will also be exposed to detailed engineering and manufacturing processeswhich will drive knowledge and experience gains across the business. This position is based in York, PA.   How you will do it  Participate in a team responsible for the design, development, testing, and documentationof software solutions across the business Leverage previous experience to drive innovation in process and technologies used tomaintain and develop the software systems. Support internal customers from design to manufacture through timely and concisecommunications. Design, implement, and test software features and enhancements on a 2 week sprintcadence.  The candidate must be able work with and in the following environments: Microsoft VisualStudio 2022, C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core, RESTful Services, and AutodeskProducts(Inventor, Vault, Revit).
