Software Engineer in Test

Job description

Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using **Playwright** . - Create and execute automated test scripts for web applications. - Develop end-to-end, regression, smoke, and functional test suites. - Work closely with developers, business analysts, and QA teams to understand requirements and test scenarios. - Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines. - Analyze test results, identify defects, and support troubleshooting. - Participate in code reviews and automation framework improvements. - Ensure test coverage, maintainability, and scalability of automation solutions. - Prepare test reports and quality metrics. Required Skills - **7+ years of overall QA/Automation Testing experience.** - Strong hands-on experience with **Playwright Automation Testing** . - Strong programming skills in **JavaScript** and **TypeScript** . - Experience in automation framework development from scratch. - Experience with Web UI automation and End-to-End testing. - Good understanding of software testing methodologies and SDLC/STLC. - Experience with Git and version control systems. - Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies. - Knowledge of API testing and automation.
