We are seeking a **Software Engineer – Java with GCP** to join our team and contribute to building robust, scalable applications. In this role, you will leverage your strong Java expertise and cloud knowledge to design and develop high-quality solutions within an Agile environment. **Responsibilities** - Design and develop scalable Java applications using modern frameworks - Build and maintain web services including REST and SOAP - Implement microservices architecture for distributed systems - Develop event-sourced systems leveraging messaging technologies - Collaborate with cross-functional teams within Agile and Scrum environments - Solve complex technical problems with effective solutions - Contribute to application design and architecture decisions - Ensure high-quality code through best practices and standards **Requirements** - 4-6 years of professional Java development experience - Proficiency in Spring framework (Core, MVC, Boot) - Understanding of application design and microservices architecture - Experience with Web Services (REST, SOAP) and JMS - Working knowledge of Apache Kafka and event-sourced systems - Knowledge of Elastic Search - Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies - Background in e-commerce - Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to learn quickly - Good communication skills in spoken and written English
