**Job Title:** Software Engineer (SE) – Mumbai **Company:** Newgen Software Technologies Ltd. **Location:** Mumbai We are looking for a Software Engineer to design, develop, and deliver high-quality software solutions using Java technologies. The role involves working across the SDLC and ensuring quality delivery. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop and implement software solutions using **Java, J2EE, SQL/Oracle** - Participate in **coding, code reviews, unit testing, system testing, and UAT** - Prepare technical documents such as **design documents, test cases, and deployment plans** - Perform **troubleshooting, log analysis, and database query optimization** - Follow **coding standards and quality processes** - Support **POCs, client demos, and installations** **Required Skills:** - Strong skills in **Java, JSP, Servlets, J2EE, JBoss** - Hands-on experience with **SQL / Oracle** - Understanding of **OOPs, multi-tier architecture, and web applications** - Good knowledge of **SDLC and system integration** - Strong analytical and problem-solving ability **Eligibility Criteria:** - **Education:** B.E / B.Tech (CS/IT) or **MCA** - **Experience:** **1–2 Years** (relevant experience only) - Minimum **60% throughout academics** - No major academic or career gaps **Desired Traits:** - Good communication and teamwork skills - Analytical mindset with attention to detail - Willingness to work in **client-facing roles / different shifts** - Flexible and quick learner
