Software Engineer, Full StackIndia Role Overview:Build and scale cloud native applications that power mission critical customer experience platforms used by global enterprises. This role drives the development of modern, AI enabled contact center solutions on AWS, influencing how businesses engage with millions of customers daily. At Genesys, we are transforming customer experience through empathy and innovation, and you will play a direct role in delivering intelligent, scalable solutions that improve real world interactions. You will own end to end development across frontend and backend systems, collaborate with global teams, and contribute to platform level innovation. This position offers strong exposure to emerging technologies including generative AI, modern DevOps practices, and large scale distributed systems. Key Responsibilities: • Design and develop full stack applications using Typescript, NodeJS, and modern frontend frameworks such as React and Angular to deliver scalable cloud solutions • Own end to end development lifecycle, from architecture design to deployment and operational support in AWS environments • Drive cloud infrastructure design decisions, including resource management, monitoring, security, and cost optimization • Build and deploy serverless and containerized applications using AWS Lambda, Docker, and Kubernetes to improve scalability and efficiency • Implement DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment automation to accelerate delivery • Integrate third party systems and APIs, including Genesys Cloud APIs, to enable seamless customer experience solutions • Improve application performance, reliability, and security by applying best practices and proactive monitoring strategies • Collaborate with cross functional teams, including product, architecture, and customer stakeholders, to deliver high impact solutions Required Qualifications: • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field • 2+ years of professional experience in full stack software development using Typescript, NodeJS, and modern frontend frameworks • Hands on experience developing and deploying SaaS applications on AWS • Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure concepts, including compute, networking, storage, and security • Experience with container technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes • Understanding of generative AI concepts, including large language models and AI driven development approaches • Experience working with Windows and Linux environments for deployment and configuration • Solid problem solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing practices Preferred Qualifications: • Experience developing user interfaces using Angular or advanced React patterns • Familiarity with Genesys Cloud APIs and contact center technologies • Experience in database design, optimization, and performance tuning • Exposure to DevOps tools and infrastructure as code practices • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work independently and manage shifting priorities in agile environments Working at Genesys • AI at enterprise scale – Build, support and operate AI-powered technology used by more than 8,000 organizations worldwide. 150+ new AI features were released in the last fiscal year. • A flexible-first culture – Join a global team of nearly 7,000 employees with flexible ways of working designed to help people do their best work. • Growth in the AI era – Build future-ready skills through mentorship, learning programs, leadership development and education support. • Time to recharge and give back – Benefits include paid volunteer time, August Free Fridays, well-being resources and regionally tailored programs for employees and their families. • Recognized globally – Genesys is Great Place to Work® certified in 17 countries and 94% of employees are proud to tell others they work at Genesys.
