**Software Engineering Manager** **Location: Any Genpact Location** **Experience: 10-17 years** **Immediate Joiner preferred** - In this role, we are looking for a highly skilled Software Engineering Manager to lead and mentor our Software Development team, drive technical excellence, and deliver high-quality software solutions. This role involves overseeing end-to-end development, ensuring best software development practices, fostering innovation, and partnering with cross-functional teams to achieve business goals. - Responsibilities - Lead, mentor, and manage a team of software engineers, ownership, and continuous improvement. - Excellent analytical skills with the ability to anticipate issues and frame remedial actions effectively. - Oversee the design, development, and delivery of scalable, secure, and high-quality software solutions. - Guide architectural decisions and ensure alignment with technical and business strategies. - Promote best-in-class software engineering practices (Coding strategies, Branching strategies, code quality, code reviews, CI/CD, test automation, performance optimization, etc.,). - Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, and Stakeholders to define Software engineering best practices across the Ecosystem. - Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with high quality. - Identify risks, remove roadblocks, and ensure smooth execution across all PODs and teams. - Act as the primary point of contact from software development team on technical discussions and cross-team coordination. - Build strong partnerships with Product, QA, Development, and other Stakeholders. - Drive metrics-based decision-making (velocity, defects, performance KPIs, operational metrics) for MORs, Weekly Governance meetings, etc., - Qualifications we seek in you! - Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - Strong technical background in modern application development (e.g., Java, Angular, Cloud technologies). - Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies (SAFe is Good to have). - Preferred Qualifications/ Skills - Experience managing distributed or multi-location teams. - Background working in enterprise, SaaS, or large-scale applications. - Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict-resolution skills. - Ability to balance technical depth with business priorities. - Strong leadership presence and ability to influence without authority. **Education :** Bachelors in Commerce, Bachelors in Economics, Bachelors in Finance, Masters in Business Administration, Masters in Business Analytics **Professional Experience and Years of Experience :** Agile with 3-5 YEARS, Change Management with 3-5 YEARS, Client Relationships with 3-5 YEARS, Collaboration Tools & Methods with 3-5 YEARS, Design Thinking with 3-5 YEARS, Executive Presence with 3-5 YEARS, Inclusion with 3-5 YEARS, Modernizing Operations with 3-5 YEARS, People Leadership with 3-5 YEARS, Personal Effectiveness with 3-5 YEARS, Project Management with 3-5 YEARS, Storytelling with 3-5 YEARS **Skills :** Design Thinking, Agile Methodology, Change Management, Risk Management, Executive Presence, Storytelling, People Leadership, Project Management, Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), Collaboration Tools, Modernizing Operations, Inclusion, Personal Effectiveness, Client Relations - **Certifications :** AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional - Amazon Web Services (AWS) - **Primary location :** 1401-G-India: Stellar, STPI, Noida - **Remote type :** Hybrid
