A Day in the Life As an Engineering Manager, you will lead and enable multiple software engineering functions, including Development and Test, to deliver high-quality software products in a regulated environment. You will balance execution, people leadership, technical strategy, and organizational priorities while ensuring predictable delivery, product quality, and compliance with applicable standards. In this role, you will collaborate closely with architects, product management, quality, regulatory, and engineering teams to drive technical direction, align development efforts with product roadmaps and user needs, and build strong stakeholder partnerships that enable successful program execution and long-term platform evolution. You will lead software engineers and technical leads across multiple engineering functions, providing people leadership, execution oversight, technical guidance, and organizational development while fostering a culture of quality, innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned: • Proven experience leading software engineering teams developing mobile applications for iOS, Android, and hybrid platforms. • Experience managing cross-functional software engineering teams, including Development and Test/QA, • Demonstrated success delivering complex mobile software products in Agile environments with accountability for scope, schedule, quality, and execution. • Experience managing the complete mobile application lifecycle, including requirements, architecture, development, testing, deployment, app store releases, maintenance, and post-release support. • Strong understanding of native mobile technologies such as Swift, Objective-C, Kotlin, Java, and modern hybrid/mobile frameworks such as Flutter, React Native, .NET MAUI, or similar technologies. • Experience developing and integrating mobile applications with cloud platforms, backend services, APIs, connected devices, wearables, or IoT ecosystems. • Experience leading development of mobile applications used in healthcare, remote patient monitoring, connected care, digital health, medical device ecosystems, or patient engagement platforms. • Experience partnering with cloud, backend, cybersecurity, and data platform teams to deliver end-to-end connected healthcare solutions. • Understanding of mobile application security, privacy, authentication, encryption, secure communications, and data protection requirements. • Experience driving Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC) practices, cybersecurity risk management, threat modeling, vulnerability remediation, and security compliance activities across mobile software products. • Experience delivering software in regulated environments such as medical devices, healthcare, life sciences, automotive, aerospace, or other quality-driven industries. • Experience partnering with Quality and Regulatory teams to ensure software products meet applicable compliance, risk management, verification, validation, release, and post-market support requirements. • Working knowledge of industry standards, quality systems, and regulatory processes such as FDA, ISO 13485, IEC 62304, ISO 14971, HIPAA, GDPR, or similar frameworks. • Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of building, coaching, mentoring, and developing high-performing engineering teams. • Experience in talent management, including hiring, onboarding, succession planning, performance management, organizational development, and capability building. • Proven ability to drive engineering excellence through Agile practices, DevOps adoption, CI/CD automation, test automation, release management, and quality metrics. • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, with experience partnering effectively with Product Management, Program Management, Quality, Regulatory, Clinical/Domain experts, Cybersecurity teams, and senior leadership. • Experience managing multiple priorities, dependencies, risks, resource allocations, and competing business objectives while maintaining predictable delivery commitments. • Data-driven approach to execution, utilizing engineering, quality, customer, and operational metrics to guide decision-making and drive continuous improvement. • Accountable for engineering execution, product quality, team development, operational excellence, and predictable delivery outcomes across assigned mobile and connected health programs. Required Knowledge and Experience: • B.E./B.Tech./M.E./M.Tech. in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field • 17+ years of software engineering experience, including significant experience leading engineering teams delivering mobile, connected, or digital health software products. • Strong knowledge in mobile application architecture, design patterns, software engineering best practices, and scalable platform development. • Requires practical knowledge in leading and managing the execution of processes, projects, and engineering initiatives within one or more technical domains. • Advanced knowledge and skills within software engineering disciplines, with strong understanding of the impact of work across multiple functional areas. • Experi
