• Experience: 13 to 16 years of work experience in Power train and/or Inverter SW Development & Testing in automotive sector. o 6-8 years of Product development/Testing experience in Powertrain/Inverter or different product lines in Automotive o Experience in Cybersecurity Concepts(ISO-21434), HSM, Boot Modules o Experience in HIL & SIL Testing Scope in embedded automotive software validation o Experience in leveraging AI & test automation frameworks o Experience in Customer & Stakeholder Management o Experience in developing competencies & bringing in efficiency o Experience in managing group of highly motivated individuals o Experience working with/in matrix project organization o Experience in goal setting, performance evaluation, supporting career aspiration/development of team o Coaching, mentoring, guiding team members towards excellence and efficiency o PMP or Agile Certification is preferred • Educational Qualifications: B.E/BTech in Electrical / Electronics and communication / Automotive Electronics Job Purpose: In this role, Supervisor, Software Functional Test Manager will be responsible for managing Cybersecurity, Boot & SIL Testing competencies & ensuring delivery of projects in powertrain, drivetrain and electric vehicle domain. As supervisor focus will be on competency development, COE, program execution, meeting internal and external customer deliverables, ensure compliance with the required standard and process by leading the team of skilled SW test engineers for embedded automotive power-electronics, powertrain and inverter products. Individual will actively drive the team in developing the competency & to achieve the defined content on time with the quality through appropriate estimation techniques and efficient scheduling. Individual will develop the team’s capability through assessment and strategy to meet demanding business need. Works closely with internal and external stakeholders and ensures program goals are achieved. Identify and mitigate programs risks if any. Tracking, monitoring program KPIs and proactive measures to ensure KPIs are within baseline. Key Responsibility: • Lead improvement & enhancement of the competency by innovative initiatives, efficient methods, improved quality. • Lead Team who develops/executes software functional testing for use in power electronics projects including engine controllers, transmission controllers, inverter and converter electronic controllers, focusing on reusability across projects whenever possible • Lead enhancement of the software test case, automations, test suites SW test architectures alongside strategic roadmap with cutting-edge technology advancements and innovative solutions  • Take responsibility for team’s designated software functional test tasks and following ASPICE-compliant process • Working with multisite teams using AGILE methodology • Establish and drive structured problem‑solving and debugging techniques, including bench-level debugging. • Interface with Systems engineering and other Stakeholders to ensure software requirements are understood and documented appropriately & analyzed prior to software functional testing. • Foster a global and inclusive environment that engages peers in technical reviews. • Mentor, influence, provide continuous feedback and coach team members to enhance engineering skills and achieve shared goals • What we are looking for: • Strong experience in leading and enhancing software test competencies through innovative initiatives, efficient methods, and continuous quality improvements. • Hands-on experience in software functional test management, including planning, tailoring processes based on lessons learned, and supporting agile project execution. • Experience in effectively leveraging AI and test automation to improve team productivity, quality, and overall delivery excellence. • Strong collaboration skills to work with system engineering and cross‑functional stakeholders to ensure software requirements are well understood and analyzed prior to testing. • Experience working with multisite and global teams using Agile methodologies. • Demonstrated ability to mentor, coach, and provide continuous feedback to develop team members and enhance engineering skills. • Self‑motivated, adaptable, and flexible approach to work in a dynamic project environment. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical and operational topics. • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills, with high attention to detail. • Ability to manage multiple competencies and projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines. • Collaborative, team‑oriented mindset with strong interpersonal skills. • Open to giving and receiving constructive feedback, with a continuous improvement mindset. • Ability to operate effectively in a global, multicultural work environment.#L1 Hybrid Hiring.   -  Internal Use Only: SalaryGlobal Terms of Use and Privacy Statement Carefully read the BorgWarner Privacy Policy before using this website.
