Solution Design Engineer "Key Responsibilities • Design and develop high quality analytical solutions using specialist platforms such as Appian, Salesforce, and PEG. • Build, optimize, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data models leveraging Hadoop, Spark, SAS, and AWS services including S3, Athena, EMR, and EC2. • Deliver actionable insights that support customer focused strategies across RBB and Insurance domains. • Translate complex datasets into clear, compelling outputs tailored for both technical and non technical stakeholders. • Collaborate cross functionally with product, business, and technology teams to ensure alignment with business objectives and customer outcomes. • Ensure compliance and governance across all data engineering and analytical activities. • Manage internal and external stakeholder relationships, ensuring transparency, accuracy, and timely delivery of analytical outputs. ________________________________________ Required Skills \& Experience • 6 years of hands on experience with data engineering tools and programming languages, including: o Hadoop, SQL, Spark, SAS o AWS services: S3, Athena, EMR, EC2 • Advanced knowledge of Appian, Salesforce, and PEG platforms. • Strong understanding of banking and insurance domains, including Products, Channels, Segments, and Data ecosystems. • Deep knowledge of customer behaviour and key drivers of customer decision making. • Proven track record of delivering high quality analysis that leads to measurable business outcomes. • Exceptional problem solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills. • Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint, for data presentation and storytelling. ________________________________________ Preferred Qualifications • Experience working in large scale financial institutions. • Exposure to machine learning or advanced analytics. • Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and regulatory frameworks."
