Core Key Result Areas (KRAs) for Sales Roles at Pine Labs ​In a fintech environment centered on merchant commerce and payment acceptance, sales Key Result Areas span hardware deployment, software and value-added services (VAS) penetration, and ecosystem partnerships. ​1. Merchant Acquisition & Terminal Deployment - ​**New-to-Firm (NTF) Onboarding:** Drive the acquisition of retail and corporate merchants across assigned territories, expanding the active merchant network. - ​**Hardware & Software Activation:** Ensure target-driven deployment and activation of smart Point of Sale (POS) hardware solutions (such as Android terminal models like the A910 and E600). - ​**Portfolio Expansion:** Increase transaction throughput and active usage rates across newly deployed devices to minimize early churn. ​2. Value-Added Services (VAS) & Affordability Solutions - ​**Affordability & EMI Penetration:** Drive adoption of Brand EMI, Instant Discounts, and Cash Back programs to boost merchant ticket sizes and consumer engagement. - ​**Ecosystem Solutions Sales:** Cross-sell platform features beyond basic payment acceptance, including loyalty programs, gift solutions, PayByPoints, and targeted promotions. ​3. Bank Partnership & Channel Synergy - ​**Banking Alliance Collaboration:** Strengthen relationships with key banking partners to leverage channel leads, joint campaigns, and co-acquired merchant portfolios. - ​**Multi-POS Deal Closure:** Coordinate directly with banking stakeholders to fast-track underwriting, documentation, and the successful execution of large-scale corporate or multi-store agreements. ​4. Sales Productivity & Operational Compliance - ​**CRM & Field Discipline:** Maintain high operational hygiene by logging daily merchant visits, tracking leads accurately through CRM workflows (such as LeadSquare), and managing pipelines effectively. - ​**Process Adherence:** Ensure strict compliance with KYC norms, merchant onboarding guidelines, and internal operational turnaround times (TAT).
