Sourcing Engineer

Job description

**Key Responsibilities:** - Handle automotive component sourcing and part development activities - Identify, evaluate, and develop competitive supplier sources - Drive strategic sourcing, commodity price management, and supply chain optimization. - Manage multiple new part development projects in coordination with Quality, SQA, ERD, and New Product teams - Support global sourcing initiatives and import logistics management. - Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand product and process requirements **Preferred Skills:** - Strong knowledge of automotive component sourcing and supplier development - Exposure to strategic sourcing and commercial negotiations - Understanding of supply chain management and procurement processes - Experience in automotive product/component manufacturing industry - Knowledge of brake components, especially friction commodities, is an added advantage - SAP experience preferred **Candidate Profile:** - Engineering Graduate (Mechanical / Production Technology) - 2-6 years of experience in Sourcing / Procurement functions - Experience in Automotive Components / Product Manufacturing Industry - Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills - Self-driven, highly motivated, and result-oriented
