Read on… **What makes the role meaty?** Ensure physical presence at the slaughterhouse during Goat and Lamb slaughtering sessions to monitor quality and adherence to protocols. - Proven experience in livestock procurement, meat industry operations, or agricultural sourcing. - Identify and onboard new vendors in alignment with Licious Standard Specifications to ensure a consistent supply of Goat and Lamb - Conduct regular audits of vendor facilities to ensure compliance with respect to theQuality - Visit local markets (Shanties/Mandies) to evaluate and purchase live animals, ensuring the selection of healthy livestock. - Develop a direct-to-farm network by identifying and engaging farmers for bulk purchases, reducing dependency on middlemen - Maintain real-time reporting on yield, quality, and processing standards. - Travel extensively to rural markets (Shanties/Mandis) and work flexible hours in sync with slaughterhouse timings. **We hope that you have..** - Any graduate degree - Computer Literacy -MS Office (Excel & Word) - Negotiation skills to ensure competitive pricing and bulk deal closures - Ability to identify quality livestock and understand meat "specs" (weight, age,)
