**Experience : 8 to 10 years** **Qualification : B.E / B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering** **Location : Velachery, Chennai** **Responsibilities :** - **Identifying and Evaluating a Reliable supplier base** - **Costing and Challenging cost drivers** - **Negotiating contracts with key suppliers, including costs and terms of supply, service, and quality.** - **Commodity Knowledge : Rubber, Plastics and Forgings** - **Estimating risks and applying risk minimizing techniques, as well as negotiating contracts that comply with industry regulations.** - **Maintaining strategic sourcing relationships and developing strong partnerships.** **Desired Skills :** - **Strong in negotiation and coordination** - **Skilled in vendor and supplier management** - **Good in team handling and communication**
