And together, we must leverage the strength of our team to collaborate globally to optimize connections and share best practices across the Tech Centers. **Role Overview** The Lab Integration Platform is a critical enabler of digital transformation strategy, supporting secure, compliant, and efficient data exchange across laboratory systems. The Technical Analyst / Developer (TA) is responsible for the design, development, testing, deployment, and sustainment of instrument integration solutions, with a primary focus on Scitara DLX Adaptive Workflow development. The role also includes supporting cloud platform engineering responsibilities required to deploy, operate, and sustain Scitara DLX and related COTS components in AWS-hosted environments. This role combines hands-on integration development with pragmatic cloud and operational ownership, ensuring solutions are compliant, scalable, and fit for use in GxP-regulated laboratory environments. **Key Responsibilities** Integration & Workflow Development (Primary Focus) - Perform technical analysis and solution design for laboratory instrument and system integrations. - Design, develop, test, and sustain Scitara DLX Adaptive Workflows, including APIs, OPCUAs, parsers, orchestration logic, and supporting JSON schemas. - Translate business and functional requirements into detailed, testable technical implementations. - Develop backend integration services using modern integration patterns, including APIs, orchestration, and messaging/event-driven architectures. - Integrate Scitara DLX with laboratory and execution platforms (e.g., Empower, BIOVIA, MODA, GLIMS, LabX) to enable compliant instrument data capture and data flow. - Execute automated unit tests to support validation, release readiness, and regression coverage. - Support system, integration, and validation testing activities in collaboration with QA and validation partners. - Troubleshoot integration defects, data issues, and workflow failures across environments. - Contribute to reusable workflow patterns, libraries, and integration standards. Cloud Platform Engineering & Operations (Supporting Focus) - Deploy and operate COTS components using Helm on AWS EKS (Kubernetes). - Support the application lifecycle, including environment setup, upgrades, rollbacks, backup configuration, and disaster recovery readiness. - Contribute to and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and/or CloudFormation for AWS resources supporting Scitara DLX. - Support CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions) for controlled deployment of workflows and platform components. - Follow and contribute to IaC Patterns/modules where implemented. - Configure and support required cloud services, as applicable - AWS RDS (MS SQL Server) - Amazon S3 / MinIO-compatible storage - Amazon MQ (RabbitMQ) - Amazon ElastiCache (Redis) - Support platform security, monitoring, and logging configurations in alignment with enterprise standards. Note Cloud responsibilities focus on enablement, sustainment, and operational support of Scitara DLX—not primary platform architecture ownership. Validation, Compliance & Documentation - Collaborate with laboratory, quality, and validation teams to ensure solutions support GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, Annex 11, and ALCOA++ expectations. - Provide technical input and evidence to support validation activities, including automated testing alignment (e.g., Tosca/Xray). - Author and maintain technical documentation such as design specifications, workflow logic descriptions, runbooks, and architecture diagrams. - Support change control and release readiness activities for regulated deployments. Ways of Working - Work closely with Business Analysts, Testers, Platform, Infrastructure, and Networking teams. - Participate in Agile delivery, sprint planning, estimation, and day-to-day task tracking using Jira and Confluence. - Proactively identify integration risks, technical debt, and opportunities for improvement. **Education** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Science, or related field (or equivalent professional experience). **Required Qualifications** - 3+ years of experience supporting integration middleware or workflow platforms, including Scitara DLX or equivalent. - Demonstrated experience designing and developing Adaptive Workflows using design best practices. - Proficiency in Python, SQL, and JavaScript; working knowledge of C++. - Experience developing
