Job Description We are seeking a talented Developer - Tableau to join our team and contribute to an exciting BI migration project. Your primary focus will be on analyzing and redeveloping existing reports in Tableau, ensuring accurate and consistent output. You will work closely with senior team members to optimize data models and identify opportunities for report consolidation. This role offers a great opportunity to enhance your skills in BI development and data visualization. Responsibilities • Analyze Spotfire reports to understand their structure, calculations, and data sources. • Redevelop reports in Tableau, ensuring accuracy and consistency with the original output. • Build and maintain Tableau dashboards/views as per requirements, focusing on user-friendly design. • Support data model optimization and consolidation under senior guidance. • Assist in identifying redundant or low-usage reports for rationalization. • Perform thorough testing and validation of migrated reports against source reports. • Document report logic, data sources, and migration notes for each report. • Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements and address queries. • Stay updated with the latest Tableau features and best practices. Qualifications • 2-5 years of experience in BI development, with a strong understanding of Spotfire and Tableau. • Experience in report analysis and redevelopment, preferably in a BI tool migration project. • Proficiency in Tableau dashboard development, calculated fields, and basic data modeling. • Working knowledge of SQL for data extraction and validation is essential. • Strong attention to detail and a meticulous approach to data validation. • Familiarity with data platforms like SQL Server, GCP, or similar systems is an advantage. • Tableau certifications or relevant training will be considered a plus. • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
