**Duties and Responsibilities:** - Assume ownership and accountability for the generation and delivery of monthly and quarterly performance reports to consulting teams for multiple client assignments - Communicate with data providers to gather and/or clarify client specific data for reporting - Input data into database and maintain high accuracy through extensive quality checking procedures - Produce fund commentary by assessing the performance and positioning of different asset classes and investment portfolios - Proactively communicate and address queries related to performance monitoring to clients and consulting teams - Recruit, train, motivate and develop staff to their full potential - Review processes to continuously improve reporting quality **VBA Developer Responsibilities** - Develop and maintain Microsoft Access Databases, including tables, queries, forms and reports, using standard IT processes with data normalization and referential integrity - Use Advanced Excel capabilities, including pivot tables, lookups, complex formulas, and graphing to streamline business processes - Develop test plans and documentation to support new releases and code modifications. - Participate in code reviews to ensure best practices and established standards are in use - Confer with internal teams to gain understanding of business needs - Own accountability by being able to help teams troubleshoot issues on projects **Knowledge and Skills:** **Investment Knowledge** - Exposure to Global Capital Markets and working knowledge of various asset classes and investment strategies - Strong understanding of investments; asset allocation, benchmark calculations, performance computation and analysis of returns involving varying time periods - Adept in financial mathematics including calculation of portfolio returns (money-weighted, time-weighted, modified dietz methodologies) - Excellent understanding and proper usage of investment-related terminology in written and verbal communication in English **IT Proficiency** - Advanced Excel skills in managing complex datasets - Able to code and debug difficult functions / macros using VBA - Ability to normalize complex data and define referential integrity in Access - Ability to programmatically manipulate worksheet and cell proprerties using VBA - Able to translate business requirements to technical IT requirements **Desirable Traits** - Ability to multitask, manage multiple priorities and work in a rapidly changing and dynamic environment - Accountable and able to build strong working relationships with peers - Ability to understand the link between data, client needs and its application to the "bigger picture" - Strong project management skills, able to understand and coordinate complex internal processes, consolidate inputs from multiple stakeholders and propose a solution - Attention to detail and able to dive deep into different situations to problem-solve - Able to cope with pressure and deliver under tight deadlines - Ability to mentor, supervise and lead a team - Experienced working in a global team Disclaimer : This job posting has been aggregated from external source.
