You'll play a pivotal role in shaping how risk is understood, priced, and managed for some of the world's most complex property portfolios. ### Key Responsibilities - **Deliver high-quality NatCat costing** by analyzing property exposure data and providing underwriting advisory support to global underwriting desks - **Model property portfolios** using Swiss Re's internal and external risk assessment tools, including Risk Link, MultiSnap, and GRP - **Advise and guide underwriters** in interpreting model results, understanding model differences, and navigating model limitations - **Collaborate on benchmarking and pricing** of reinsurance contracts, working closely with underwriters to develop robust costing solutions - **Champion best practices** in modelling and costing by continuously developing and applying the latest methodologies - **Partner with the global underwriting community** and business partners on projects that generate valuable services and insights for Swiss Re - **Drive model improvement** by leveraging findings from underwriting analyses to enhance NatCat models and tools - **Build sophisticated analytics** and client services by extracting meaningful insights from large and complex datasets ### About the Team The **Property Treaty UW Advisory, Americas** team is a specialist group dedicated to delivering high-quality underwriting analytics - with a primary focus on NatCat costing and occasional Fire costing - to various underwriting desks across Swiss Re's Americas region. The team plays a critical role in enabling underwriters to make well-informed, data-driven decisions on complex reinsurance portfolios. Working at the heart of Swiss Re's global risk assessment capabilities, the team combines deep technical expertise with a collaborative, client-focused approach to drive meaningful outcomes for the business. ### About You You are a curious, analytically driven professional who thrives in a complex, global environment.
