Job description

**Job Title: SPFx Architect - Power Platform** **Location: Pan India** **Role Summary** We are looking for an Architect who owns the solution design across SharePoint Online, SPFx, and Power Platform. This is a design-authority role. You set the architecture, make the build-versus-buy and platform choices, define governance, and ensure what the teams build is secure, scalable, and maintainable. You are still technically deep enough to prototype and to challenge a developer's approach, but your primary output is design, direction, and standards rather than day-to-day feature code. **Key Responsibilities** - Own end-to-end solution architecture for SPFx and Power Platform engagements, from requirements through to a documented target design. - Make the key technical decisions: SPFx versus Power Platform versus out-of-the-box, canvas versus model-driven, Dataverse versus SharePoint as the data layer, and where custom code is justified. - Define authentication and security architecture, including Entra ID app registrations, permission scoping, least-privilege consent, and API access patterns via Microsoft Graph. - Establish and maintain development standards, ALM strategy, environment/tenant governance, and reusable components across teams. - Provide architectural governance and design review for the work that Leads and developers deliver. - Advise clients and internal stakeholders on modernization roadmaps, platform capabilities, and effort/complexity trade-offs, and support proposals and SOWs with credible solution designs. - Anticipate risks around performance, licensing, tenant limits, and long-term supportability, and design around them. **Must-Have Skills** - Strong architecture-level command of SharePoint Online, SPFx, and the broader M365 platform. - Deep Power Platform expertise across Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse, including environment strategy and DLP/governance. - Solid grasp of Entra ID, Microsoft Graph, and M365 security and identity models. - Ability to produce clear architecture artifacts: solution designs, integration flows, and governance documents. - Track record of designing solutions that other teams then build and support. **Good-to-Have Skills** - SharePoint on-premises (2019/SPSE) and hybrid architecture for clients still on-prem or mid-migration. - Copilot Studio and agentic/AI solution design. - Azure integration services (Functions, Logic Apps, API Management) where solutions extend beyond M365. - PowerShell for M365 administration and automation. **Experience & Qualifications** - Typically 10+ years across SharePoint and M365, with demonstrable architecture ownership on real engagements. - Certifications such as PL-600, MS-600, or Azure/M365 architect-level credentials are strongly preferred. **Soft Skills** - Able to hold a design position with clients and internal teams and justify it clearly. - Strong written communication for architecture documentation and proposal support.
