**Job Title:** SQL DBA Administrator - Azure **Experience Range:** 5 to 10 Years **Location:** Bangalore / Hyderabad Job Description We are looking for an experienced **SQL DBA Administrator - Azure** to manage, maintain, and optimize Microsoft SQL Server databases across on-premises and Azure environments. Key Responsibilities - Administer, monitor, and maintain SQL Server databases in production environments. - Manage Azure SQL Database, Azure SQL Managed Instance, and related Azure services. - Perform database installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, and migrations. - Implement backup, recovery, high availability, and disaster recovery solutions. - Monitor database performance and perform tuning to ensure optimal system efficiency. - Manage database security, user access, encryption, and compliance requirements. - Troubleshoot database issues and provide timely resolution. - Work closely with application, infrastructure, and cloud teams to support business-critical applications. - Automate routine DBA tasks using scripts and monitoring tools. Required Skills - 5+ years of experience as SQL Database Administrator. - Strong expertise in Microsoft SQL Server Administration. - Hands-on experience with Azure SQL Database and Azure SQL Managed Instance. - Experience in Backup & Recovery, Always On Availability Groups, Replication, Clustering, and Performance Tuning. - Strong knowledge of T-SQL, indexing, query optimization, and database troubleshooting. - Experience with database migrations from on-premises to Azure. - Knowledge of monitoring, security, and capacity planning best practices. - Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Preferred Skills - Microsoft Azure Certification. - Experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Monitor, and Azure Backup. - Exposure to DevOps, PowerShell, and database automation. - Experience supporting large-scale enterprise database environments.
