Job Summary We are looking for an experienced and strategic **Finance Manager / Controller** to act as the primary financial business partner for our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will bridge factory floors and corporate leadership, driving cost efficiency, rigorous capex governance, precise standard costing, and robust financial planning within the automotive industry. Key Role Accountabilities 1. Capex Management & ROI Analysis - Manage capex budget releases in **SAP** and monitor actual spend against allocations. - Track capex recoveries from customers and handle asset capitalization. - Conduct post-implementation audits by tracking actual operational performance versus initial business cases. 2. Cash Flow & Commercial Controls - Maintain strict control over commercial recoveries. - Validate sourcing and plant-level savings to protect margins. - Monitor customer and vendor price movements, ensuring timely supplementary actions. 3. Costing & Product Profitability - Oversee standard costing, **COGM validation**, and cost center accounting accuracy. - Review and monitor product costing across manufacturing units. - Drive targeted cost-reduction initiatives on the shop floor. - Conduct granular profitability analysis broken down by plant, product, and customer. 4. Financial Planning, Budgeting & MIS - Drive the annual budgeting process covering revenue, cost, capex, and working capital. - Develop and maintain accurate rolling forecasts. - Deliver timely weekly and monthly Management Information System (MIS) reports to senior leadership. 5. Operational Business Partnering - Partner closely with Production, Supply Chain, Sourcing, Plant Heads, and Operations Heads. - Provide actionable financial insights and analytics to drive operational improvements and support strategic management decisions. Desired Candidate Profile - **Qualification:** Chartered Accountant (CA - 1st & 2nd attempt preferred), Cost Accountant (CMA/ICWA), or Full-time MBA in Finance. - **Experience:** 7 to 10 years of core experience in plant controlling, manufacturing costing, and operations finance. - **Industry Preference:** Mandatory background in **Auto Parts / Automotive / Ancillary** manufacturing. - **Technical Skills:** - Advanced proficiency in **SAP (CO/FI modules)** and advanced Excel. - Strong expertise in standard costing, BOM structuring, and inventory valuation within a discrete manufacturing environment. - **Soft Skills:** Strong cross-functional leadership, excellent stakeholder management, communication, and business partnering capabilities.
