Key duties involve vendor qualification, regulatory compliance, and cost optimization. **Key Responsibilities** - **Strategic Sourcing:** Procure primary and secondary packaging components (bottles, caps, blisters, cartons, labels, foils) ensuring uninterrupted plant operations. - **Vendor Management:** Identify, audit, and qualify suppliers in alignment with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and global regulatory bodies. - **Commercial Negotiation:** Negotiate pricing, contracts, lead times, and payment terms to drive cost-saving initiatives. - **Cross-Functional Coordination:** Partner with Quality Assurance (QA), Packaging Development, and Production to validate material specifications and resolve supply bottlenecks. - **Risk Mitigation:** Track inventory levels, develop backup vendors, and monitor supply chain continuity. **Qualifications & Skills** - **Education:** Bachelors degree. Preference with packaging diploma / Material management certification / Supply Chain Operations certification. - **Experience:** 3 to 5 years of relevant pharmaceutical procurement experience. - **Competencies:** Strong understanding of cGMP regulations, vendor qualification processes, and enterprise tools like SAP.
