Together, we are building a better world, so we can all enjoy living in it. **Job Summary** We are seeking a skilled **Senior IT Analyst Applications - Front-End Order Management -CAT IT Division.** Caterpillar is seeking a Senior IT Analyst to provide technical leadership and operational oversight for a portfolio of enterprise order management, digital commerce, and customer-facing applications. In this role, you will partner with business stakeholders, software development teams, architects, vendors, and support organizations to deliver application enhancements, drive operational stability, support strategic initiatives, and ensure solutions continue to meet evolving business needs. This position offers an opportunity to develop deep expertise across enterprise applications, cloud technologies, systems integration, and digital commerce platforms while serving as a pipeline role for future technical leadership and solution architecture opportunities. The preference for this role is to be based out of **Caterpillar PSN Office, Whitefield -KA -india** **What you will do** - Lead delivery and operational support activities for critical enterprise applications. - Collaborate with business partners to understand requirements, evaluate solution options, and support strategic initiatives. - Coordinate application enhancements, releases, testing activities, and production deployments. - Identify and manage risks, dependencies, issues, and impacts across interconnected business and technology solutions. - Partner with development teams, architects, vendors, and support organizations to maintain application reliability and performance. - Support troubleshooting and resolution of complex application and integration issues. - Ensure applications meet security, compliance, governance, and operational standards. - Contribute to technology roadmaps, application lifecycle planning, and modernization initiatives. - Communicate project status, risks, and key decisions to stakeholders and leadership. - Drive continuous improvement opportunities, including automation and AI-enabled solutions that improve support and delivery processes. **What you will have** - Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Information Systems, or a related field. - Experience delivering, supporting, or enhancing enterprise business applications. - Experience collaborating with technical and business stakeholders to define and implement solutions. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. - Experience working in complex environments involving multiple applications, integrations, and business processes. - **This position requires candidate to work a 5-day -a -week schedule in the office.** **Top Candidates Will Also Have** - 6+ years of experience in application delivery, application support, systems analysis, software development, or related technology roles. - Experience supporting enterprise platforms such as digital commerce, order management, supply chain, customer experience, ERP, or similar business applications. - Experience with cloud technologies such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Snowflake datalake or Microsoft Office/PowerBI/D365. - Experience with systems integration, APIs, data flows, and enterprise application architecture concepts. - Experience leading cross-functional initiatives involving business stakeholders, vendor partners, and globally distributed teams. - Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies and software development lifecycle practices. - Experience supporting cybersecurity, compliance, audit, or governance requirements. - Experience with application portfolio management, technology lifecycle planning, or enterprise architecture practices. **Success in This Role** Successful candidates will demonstrate: - Strong technical and business acumen. - Ability to influence and collaborate across diverse stakeholder groups. - Ownership and accountability for outcomes. - Effective communication and relationship-building skills. - A passion for continuous improvement, innovation, and operational excellence. - The ability to simplify complex technical concepts for business audiences. **Skills desired:** **Core Application Systems**: Knowledge of major production application systems used for delivery of services to internal and external clients; ability to leverage major production application systems in diverse situations.
