**OVERVIEW** General Mills India supports multiple plants, warehouses, and business teams in the US. This role combines people leadership, service management, replenishment, and network planning responsibilities. - The incumbent will collaborate across Distribution, Supply, Demand Planning, and System Governance teams to improve case-fill efficiency, balance cost and operational constraints, lead a team of distribution planners, and proactively manage service risks in partnership with US replenishment managers and planning teams. **KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES** **Strategic responsibilities** - Lead logistics operations through strong partnership, coaching, and cross-functional collaboration - Drive distribution planning for assigned Operating Units and distribution centers while meeting service KPIs and optimizing supply chain costs - Own tactical deployment decisions and process governance for the assigned network - Support short-term network and replenishment strategies in partnership with US Replenishment Managers - Enable problem-solving across transportation, warehousing, plant outbound, and network capacity constraints **Operational Responsibilities** - Build expertise in planning systems such as SAP, OMP, Inventory Analyst, and related tools - Share regular updates on key service, inventory, and operational metrics with stakeholders - Collaborate across supply chain teams to improve product and information flow - Ensure process compliance and drive continuous improvement initiatives - Actively contribute to team forums, training, and knowledge-sharing sessions - Drive Run, Improve, and Transform ways of working - Partner with Replenishment, Operating Units, and D&T teams on planning, transformation, efficiency, and cost-saving initiatives - Lead automation, standardization, benchmarking, and scalable solution development - Set goals, develop talent, and manage key people processes - Support capability transitions and deployment training across the distribution planning organization **Projects** - Partner with Replenishment team in Spring Plan activities - Collaborate with Replenishment, Operating Units, D&T teams to drive improve/Transform projects in Deliver space - Lead organization/Function level initiatives to drive efficiencies and cost savings. **Continuous Improvement:** - Build Architectural solutions through Automation, Standardization, Lean approach etc. - Build sustainable and order winning solutions for the problems. - Collaborate across with various team to implement defined solutions. - Perform external competitive benchmarking and analysis. - Lead Cost savings initiatives - Lead ideation and drive implementation to deliver organizational goals. - Develop sustainable tools for the capabilities. **Continuing Professional Career Development** - Participate in soft skills training driven by L&D Team - Leveraging Future skills & Supply chain university platform to explore emerging technologies & enhance Supply chain skills. **People Responsibilities** - Participating in developing goals and objectives for the Fiscal Year - Energize and develop people by collaborating across boundaries. - Complete annual performance management processes (annual objective setting, performance assessment and reviews, IDP, etc.) **Organizational Effectiveness** - Lead/Support development and Transition of new capabilities across Distribution planning organization. - Develop best in class Training framework for Deployment **MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS** - Bachelors with 12+ years or Masters with 10+ years of relevant experience - Good understanding of planning and ERP systems such as SAP, OMP, O9, Inventory Analyst, and Tableau - Strong project management, analytical, and critical thinking skills - Continuous improvement mindset with a proactive, solution-oriented approach - Ability to manage ambiguity, multitask, prioritize, and deliver under tight timelines - Ability to translate business insights into actionable outcomes **PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS** - Masters degree - 8 years of related experience - Major Area of Study in Supply Chain - Preferred Professional Certifications: APICS – CSCP, PMP, Six Sigma
