About this role: Senior Network Architect is a senior technical leader responsible for the strategic vision, lifecycle planning, and architectural design of highly reliable, secure, and scalable multi-cloud and enterprise network infrastructure to support Gartner Conference and global business operations. The ideal candidate brings expert-level mastery in enterprise network design, zero-trust security frameworks, edge connectivity, and hybrid cloud ecosystems. They are passionate about setting architectural guardrails, authoring long-term technology roadmaps, and leveraging modern software-defined networking (SDN) and automation frameworks to drive transformative business outcomes. What you’ll do: • Define Strategy: Architect the global enterprise network blueprint spanning LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, multi-cloud ecosystems, and high-density event environments. • Lead Security Architecture: Design enterprise-wide network security frameworks, integrating next-generation firewalls, SASE, zero-trust models, and micro-segmentation. • Author Roadmaps: Establish long-term technology roadmaps, standard reference designs, and architectural guardrails Campus office, Data Center, and cloud connectivity. • Drive Innovation: Evaluate and select emerging technologies, leading proof-of-concepts for SDN, intent-based networking, network automation, and AI frameworks. • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with infrastructure team, application team, Infosec team, DevOps Team, Cloud CCOE team and End user team. • Govern Documentation: Own the lifecycle of core reference architectures, global topology diagrams, infrastructure-as-code libraries, and standard compliance guidelines. • Act as Highest Escalation: Serve as the ultimate technical authority for systemic, complex infrastructure or application performance anomalies. • Mentor Teams: Provide technical governance and mentorship to senior network engineering teams, cultivating engineering excellence across the organization. What you’ll need: • Professional Experience: 12-14 years of deep technical experience in large-scale enterprise routing, switching, and complex network infrastructure design. • Modernization Strategy: Proven success in designing enterprise network modernization strategies, transforming legacy topologies into intent-driven, automated infrastructures. • Technical Governance: Ability to author and maintain global network architectural standards, high-level designs (HLD), low-level designs (LLD), and deployment blueprints. • Core Routing & Switching: Master-level understanding of advanced routing protocols (BGP, OSPF) alongside high-density data center fabrics (spine-leaf) and modern campus network topologies. • Enterprise Wireless: Deep technical knowledge of enterprise wireless LAN (WLAN) controllers, cloud-managed Wi-Fi architecture, RF engineering, and centralized wireless management platforms. • Application Delivery & Load Balancing: Advanced, hands-on knowledge of F5 BIG-IP systems (LTM, DNS, APM), including deep familiarity with SSL/TLS termination, HTTP/HTTPS profiles, and iRules. • Palo Alto Security Design: Strong experience in Palo Alto Networks infrastructure, designing secure deployments utilizing Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW) managed via Strata Cloud Manager, user-ID/app-ID policies, and cloud-delivered security services. • SASE & Edge Architecture: Expertise to architect and scale Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) and SD-WAN frameworks to provide optimized, secure connectivity for remote users and branch offices. • Multi-Cloud Networking: Deep knowledge of cloud-native networking constructs, designing and securing high-performance transit networks across AWS (Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, VPCs) and Microsoft Azure (Virtual WAN, ExpressRoute, vNets). • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Proven ability to partner directly with Information Security, Cloud Engineering, DevOps, and executive leadership to align infrastructure capabilities with business goals. • Technical Leadership: Experience providing technical guidance, architecture/design reviews, and mentorship to the network engineering team Who You Are • Graduate/Postgraduate in BE/B tech, ME/MTech or MCA are preferred. • Excellent communication and prioritization skills. • Able to work independently or within a team proactively in a fast-paced AGILE-SCRUM environment. • Owns success – Takes responsibility for successful delivery of the solutions. • Ardent desire to improve upon their skills in software development, frameworks, and technologies.
