Location: Hyderabad **Summary** The Sr. Product Manager, IT – Total Rewards is a strategic and technical leader responsible for the design, delivery, and optimization of HCM solutions supporting Compensation, Advanced Compensation, Benefits, and related Total Rewards capabilities. This role partners closely with HR, IT, and cross-functional teams to define product roadmaps, translate business needs into scalable technology solutions, and ensure successful implementation across global environments. The ideal candidate combines deep functional expertise in Total Rewards with strong product management and technical acumen. This individual drives innovation, operational excellence, and business value using Workday and modern HCM platforms. **A Typical Day Might Include the following:** - Serving as the **product manager and subject matter expert (SME)** for Total Rewards, including Compensation, Advanced Compensation, Benefits, and related modules. - Partnering with business stakeholders to **gather, document, and refine requirements**, translating them into scalable product and system designs. - Defining and maintaining **product roadmaps**, aligning priorities with business strategy and technology direction. - Leading **solution design and implementation efforts**, including integrations with third-party benefits and HR systems. - Collaborating with engineering and boundary system teams to **deliver high-quality, scalable solutions**. - Overseeing **testing activities** (unit, integration, QA, and UAT) to ensure solutions meet business requirements and quality standards. - Monitoring delivery progress, managing risks/issues, and **ensuring on-time, on-budget execution** of initiatives. - Supporting **go-live and post-production (hyper-care)** activities, including troubleshooting and continuous improvement. - Identifying **process and technology gaps**, recommending enhancements, and driving innovation across Total Rewards capabilities. - Acting as the **bridge between business and technical teams**, ensuring clear communication, alignment, and successful outcomes. **Job Requirements** - 8+ years of experience in HR technology, product management, or systems leadership roles. - 6+ years of hands-on expertise in **Workday HCM**, particularly Compensation and Advanced Compensation including supporting annual compensation cycles; experience with Benefits required. - Proven experience with **global HCM implementations** and supporting US and international operations. - Hands-on experience with **system integrations**, including third-party vendors (e.g., benefits providers) and iPaaS platforms (e.g., Boomi). - Strong understanding of **product lifecycle management**, system design, and implementation methodologies. - Experience leading **testing efforts** (SIT, UAT) and ensuring traceability from requirements through delivery. - Ability to **analyze and document complex business processes**, including process flows and system diagrams. - Demonstrated ability to **collaborate across business and technical teams**, influencing stakeholders and driving alignment. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and **solution design skills** with a focus on scalability and simplicity. - Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business terms. - Proven ability to manage **multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment** with a results-oriented mindset. - Experience with additional Workday modules (e.g., Time Tracking, Absence, Payroll, Recruiting) and tools like ServiceNow is a plus. - Bachelor’s degree required. - Relevant certifications (Workday, cloud technologies) preferred.
