This role requires deep expertise in **designing and delivering scalable automation solutions**, conducting **customer-facing workshops**, and executing **complex integrations** across hybrid and multi-cloud environments. The ideal candidate combines **strong technical depth with consulting capability**, enabling them to translate business requirements into **robust, production-grade automation architectures**. ## **Key Responsibilities** ### **1. Customer Engagement & Workshops** - Lead **automation discovery and design workshops** with enterprise customers - Translate business and operational requirements into **automation roadmaps and solution architectures** - Act as a **trusted advisor** to stakeholders across customer’s IT, DevOps, and platform teams ### **2. Solution Architecture & Design** - Design end-to-end automation frameworks leveraging: - - Nutanix Self-Service Platform - Ansible for configuration management and orchestration - Terraform for infrastructure provisioning - Define reusable automation blueprints, modular workflows, and governance standards - Architect integrations across **cloud, virtualization, and enterprise toolchains** ### **3. Implementation & Delivery** - Lead and execute **complex deployments and integrations** across: - - Hybrid cloud platforms (Nutanix, AWS, Azure, etc.) - CI/CD ecosystems (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps) - Develop and optimize **infrastructure-as-code and automation pipelines** - Troubleshoot and resolve **complex deployment and orchestration issues** ### **4. Automation Development** - Build and maintain automation using scripting languages such as: - - Python - PowerShell - Develop custom modules, plugins, and integrations where required - Ensure automation solutions are **scalable, secure, and reusable** ### **5. Best Practices & Enablement** - Establish **automation standards, governance, and best practices** - Mentor consultants and engineers on **automation frameworks and tools** - Contribute to internal assets such as **playbooks, accelerators, and reference architectures** ## **Required Qualifications** - **10–15 years of experience** in IT infrastructure, cloud, and automation - Proven experience in: - - Designing and delivering **enterprise automation solutions** - Conducting **customer-facing workshops and technical discussions** - Leading **complex deployments and integrations** **Technical Expertise** ### **Core Skills (Must-Have)** - Strong hands-on experience with: - - Nutanix Self-Service Platform or equivalent - Ansible - Terraform - Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP) - Deep understanding of **CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices** - API integrations and REST-based automation - Proficiency in at least one scripting language: - - Python or PowerShell ### **Good-to-Have** - Exposure to container platforms (Kubernetes, OpenShift) - Knowledge of ITSM integrations (e.g., ServiceNow) ## **Key Competencies** - Strong **consulting and stakeholder management skills** - Ability to **translate business problems into technical automation solutions** - Excellent **problem-solving and troubleshooting ability** - Effective **communication and presentation skills** **Success Metrics** - Successful delivery of **automation-led transformation projects** - Reduction in **manual effort and operational overhead** for customers - High **customer satisfaction and adoption of automation frameworks** - Creation of **reusable assets and accelerators** ## **Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent discipline. ### **Preferred Certifications** - Terraform Certified Associate - Red Hat Certified Specialist in Ansible Automation - AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or Professional - Python-related certifications or demonstrable contributions to automation frameworks - VMware Certified Professional – Cloud Management and Automation 2024 (VCP-CMA 2024) ## **Location & Work Shifts** - Pune / Bangalore - Travel as required for customer assignments - Ready to work in US and EMEA shifts, as per assignments.
