Job description

Staff Product Manager | Adtech | RetailAbout the RoleWe're building India's premium retail media platform, taking the commerce and AdTech infrastructure we've built and battle-tested at scale and externalizing it as a high-performance ads platform for brands, sellers and retail partners. This is a rare opportunity to productize proven infrastructure: high-QPS ad serving inside live shopping journeys, rich first-party commerce signals and closed-loop measurement that connects ad spend directly to sales. We're looking for a Staff product manager who can operate as true owners, people who go deep on the problem, write the doc, align the room, ship, refine and repeat. This is an individual contributor role with outsized scope and direct access to leadership, customers and partners. What You'll Do● Own the product end-to-end. Break down the vision, define the scope for your area of the retail media stack- from competitor research and seller ecosystem discoveries through PRDs, MVPs, launch and iteration. You write crisp docs, and your docs drive decisions.● Translate business goals into product strategy. Take ambiguous, high-stakes objectives, monetization targets, brand adoption, shopper experience guardrails and turn them into a clear, sequenced roadmap with measurable outcomes.● Ship, measure, refine. Break complex problems into executable slices, run tight sprints with engineering, define success metrics upfront (ROAS, ACOS, relevance scores, incrementality) and iterate fast on real data, delivering at scale and on time.● Build experiences, not just features. Obsess over both sides of the marketplace: brands and sellers who need intuitive self-serve tools, and shoppers whose experience must never degrade for the sake of monetization. Think in ecosystems campaign consoles, APIs, reporting, retail partner workflows, not isolated deliverables.● Balance relevance and revenue. Partner deeply with search, recommendations and data science teams on auction mechanics, product relevance/ranking and ad-load decisions where commerce relevance and monetization meet.● Drive alignment across the company. Work daily with engineering, QA, ops, category, and seller-facing teams and liaise with Legal, Finance, IT, and Regulatory on the things that make or break an ad platform including (but not limiting to) privacy, compliance, billing, fair marketplace policies.● Be the face of the product externally. Engage directly with brands, sellers, retail and tech partners, from discovery conversations to API and feed integration deep-dives and bring their voice back into the roadmap.● Influence without authority. Communicate product vision clearly to senior leadership and key stakeholders and shape how the platform is positioned in the retail media market. What We're Looking For● 4-8 years of product management experience, with meaningful time in retail media or commerce ads. You've built or scaled ad products on a marketplace, e-commerce/q-commerce platforms, retail media networks or commerce DSPs.● Hands-on exposure to the retail media stack. Sponsored products, sponsored brands, PLA/PLP (collection based display ads), Search Ads. Understands ad placements, auction design and bidding (CPC/CPM, second-price), budget pacing and self-serve campaign management for advertisers of every size from enterprise brands to long-tail sellers.● Fluency in commerce data and measurement. First-party shopper signals, catalog and feed integrations, closed-loop attribution, ROAS and incrementality measurement with exposure to clean rooms, audience products with offsite extension to programmatic and social.● Strong grasp of marketplace dynamics and privacy. You understand the tension between ad load and shopper experience, fair-ranking and marketplace-neutrality considerations and the evolving privacy landscape (DPDP, GDPR, consent frameworks, and the post-cookie shift).● Sharp analytical instincts. You're comfortable in data, defining metrics, sizing opportunities, debugging funnel drops and making a quantitative case for your roadmap.
