Job description

## **Company:** Qualcomm India Private Limited ## **Job Area:** Operations Group, Operations Group > Project Analyst **General Summary:** The CHS (Central Hardware System) Operations team is looking for a Staff Project Analyst, based in India, with a drive to self-succeed and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. This person will lead operations and resource planning across the chipset programs we engage on out of the region, providing program and operations support to hardware engineering and design teams while working closely with global cross-geo teams across US time zones. They will lead the development and management of processes, procedures, and tools that increase productivity and improve existing flows, and recommend alternate system management tools to satisfy core business objectives **Minimum Qualifications:** •    Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of relevant work experience. OR Associate's degree and 4+ years of relevant work experience. OR High School Diploma or equivalent and 6+ years of relevant work experience. \\*Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master’s = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience. Principal Duties and Responsibilities • Lead operations, resource, and capacity planning across the region's chipset programs — spanning CAD, Mechanical, and PCB design activities — in partnership with hardware platform program managers. • Own and continuously enhance CHS Operations systems, SharePoint lists, and Power Automate flows that support program execution; drive enhancement requests from intake through release. • Own end-to-end hardware R&D program management — project-manage from design through tape-out, fab, builds, bring-up, testing, and release. • Own external design-services partner bookkeeping and planning (Mechanical, PCB layout, and PCB library): work with Contracts and Finance on purchase orders, accounting, and capacity loading, and automate these functions where possible. • Lead financial roll-ups across products and quarters by partnering with cross-functional teams; deliver clear, audit-ready summaries for executive review and official submission. • Drive the fiscal year budget intake and consolidation process; build and operate budget dashboards that give leadership a real-time view of plan vs. actuals and forecast risk. • Design, build, and maintain executive dashboards using Power BI (and Tableau where applicable) that turn operational data into decisions; define KPIs, data models, and refresh cadence. • Provide operations leadership and consultation to functional teams across the program; serve as the connective tissue between program management, engineering, finance, and supplier-facing teams. • Lead resource planning, capacity modeling, and gap analysis across active and pipeline projects; surface staffing and bandwidth risks early. • Drive product reviews across core program meetings — own agendas, capture decisions and action items, and hold owners accountable to closure with documented evidence. • Own end-to-end management of program milestones, change requests, and risks. • Coordinate material ordering for Mechanical teardowns and prototype builds, and support substrate prototype ordering. • Establish and roll out new program management processes, methods, and tools (tracking systems, schedules, databases, documentation management) — and retire those that no longer deliver value. • Lead project planning activities including integrated schedules, work breakdown structures, dependency maps, and critical-path analysis. • Architect Power Automate workflows on top of new and existing SharePoint lists to eliminate manual operational toil and improve data quality. • Mentor junior project analysts and program coordinators; codify reusable templates, playbooks, and operating standards. • Represent CHS Operations to senior leadership (Director / VP audience) — produce executive briefings, gate review packages, and quarterly business reviews. Minimum Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. • 8+ years of progressive experience supporting project management and execution in a technology, semiconductor, or hardware operations environment, including demonstrated ownership of cross-functional programs and direct influence on senior-leader decisions. • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel (complex formulas, pivots, Power Query), SharePoint Online (lists and document libraries), Power Automate, Power BI, PowerPoint, and Visio. • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with proven ability to organize and articulate complex information for both engineering and executive audiences. • Strong presentation skills, sharp analytical judgment, and rigorous attention to detail. • Working understanding of the semiconductor product lifecycle, from concept through high-volume manufacturing. • Demonstrated ability to operate across multiple time zones and cultures with global teams and external suppliers, including regular collaboration with US-based teams. Preferred Requirements • Experience with SQL, Python, or other scripting languages to automate data pipelines and reporting. • Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 Copilot, AI-assisted analytics, or other modern automation platforms applied to operations workflows. • Jira at program scale, including dashboards, queries, and workflow customization. • Familiarity with Agile and hybrid program management practices. • Experience standing up new operational processes from scratch and scaling them across a global organization. • Prior experience presenting to Director, VP, or SVP-level audiences.
