**Position:** Storage Administrator **Experience:** 5+ Years **Location:** Noida **Qualification:** BE/B.Tech/MCA in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication, Electronics, or equivalent from a Government-recognized institute. Job Summary We are seeking an experienced **Storage Administrator** with hands-on expertise in **IBM Storage technologies** to manage, monitor, and maintain enterprise storage infrastructure. The candidate will be responsible for administration, capacity planning, performance monitoring, fault resolution, backup coordination, and documentation activities within an FMS (Facility Management Services) environment. Key Responsibilities - Administer, monitor, and maintain IBM Storage infrastructure to ensure high availability and optimal performance. - Perform storage provisioning, allocation, configuration, and decommissioning activities. - Monitor storage capacity utilization and conduct capacity planning to support business growth. - Troubleshoot and resolve storage-related incidents, performance issues, and hardware/software faults. - Coordinate with backup teams to ensure successful backup, restore, and disaster recovery operations. - Perform storage health checks, preventive maintenance, firmware upgrades, and patch management. - Support SAN infrastructure management, zoning, LUN masking, and storage connectivity troubleshooting. - Maintain operational documentation, SOPs, asset inventories, and configuration records. - Ensure adherence to SLA commitments, change management, and ITIL processes. - Coordinate with OEM/vendors for issue resolution, escalations, and replacement activities. - Generate periodic operational, utilization, and incident reports. Required Technical Skills - Hands-on experience with **IBM Storage Systems** (IBM FlashSystem, Storwize, V7000, DS Series, etc.). - Experience in SAN Storage Administration and Management. - Knowledge of Fibre Channel, SAN Switches, Storage Virtualization, and Multipathing. - Experience with Capacity Management, Performance Monitoring, and Storage Optimization. - Understanding of Backup & Recovery solutions and Disaster Recovery concepts. - Knowledge of RAID configurations, LUN management, and storage replication technologies. - Familiarity with Linux and Windows server environments. - Experience working in 24x7 production support environments. Preferred Certifications - IBM Certified Storage Administrator. - IBM FlashSystem / IBM Storage Solutions Certifications. - ITIL Foundation Certification. Desired Skills - Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. - Good communication and documentation abilities. - Ability to work independently in an operations and support environment. - Experience in enterprise datacenter operations and FMS projects.
