**Position Overview** **Job Title:** **Storage Services Backup Data Protection Product Manager , VP** **Location: Pune/ Bangalore, India** **Role Description** - The role is ideal for a product leader particularly in enterprise backup and cyber resiliency, who can translate complex infrastructure capabilities into commercially viable, scalable, and recovery-ready services for the organization. It is not a hands-on engineering position. You will lead a cross-functional programme involving senior stakeholders, audit partners, CIO organisations, and technical delivery teams. This is a strategic leadership role, requiring strong governance, stakeholder management, and delivery oversight skills **What We’ll Offer You** As part of our flexible scheme, here are just some of the benefits that you’ll enjoy - Best in class leave policy - Gender neutral parental leaves - 100% reimbursement under childcare assistance benefit (gender neutral) - Sponsorship for Industry relevant certifications and education - Employee Assistance Program for you and your family members - Comprehensive Hospitalization Insurance for you and your dependents - Accident and Term life Insurance - Complementary Health screening for 35 yrs. and above **Your Key Responsibilities** **Programme Leadership & Delivery** - Lead the end-to-end backup estate programme across all critical workloads and business services - Define and implement a structured delivery plan to achieve for the product - Track progress against audit milestones, ensuring timely closure of all findings - Establish clear governance forums, reporting structures, and escalation pathways **Stakeholder Management** - Act as the primary interface with IT Application Owners (ITAOs), CIO leadership, and Group Audit - Communicate programme objectives, progress, risks, and outcomes in a clear, executive-level narrative - Align stakeholders on Tertiary Copy to Clean Room and remediation expectations - Drive accountability across globally distributed teams and business units **Delivery Oversight (Non-Technical)** - Manage and coordinate a team of backup engineers and SMEs performing analysis and reporting - Validate delivery outputs (e.g. recovery time calculations, compliance status) from a governance perspective - Ensure consistency in methodology, reporting standards, and data quality across the programme **Commercial Product Leadership** - Own and evolve the commercial strategy, pricing approach, funding model, and financial transparency framework across the product suite - Develop multi-year product and investment roadmaps aligned to business demand, technology strategy, and regulatory requirements **Product Strategy & Roadmap** - Define, maintain, and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Backup Data Protection estate - Drive the adoption of utility-based and consumption-driven models where appropriate **Cyber Resiliency / Enterprise Backup / Recovery Strategy** - Already Demonstrated leadership in designing and delivering cyber resiliency solutions, bringing actionable expertise in implementing new cyber recovery capabilities within the enterprise backup estate - Shape product strategy and roadmap for backup, recovery, archive, long-term retention, and data protection services **Governance, Risk, Control & Audit** - Support and coordinate internal audits, control assurance, and regulatory responses relating to storage and backup services - Ensure non-compliant applications have clearly defined remediation plans with measurable outcomes - Provide structured, transparent, maintaining full audit readiness for the product - Maintain a robust RAID log (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) and drive resolution to closure **Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement** - Drive continuous improvement across the backup estate through simplification, automation, standardization, and service optimization - Leadership, Stakeholder Management & Communication - Build strong relationships across infrastructure, cyber security, engineering, production support, finance, and business management teams - Lead, coach, and develop team members while fostering an inclusive, high-performing, and delivery-oriented culture **Your Skills And Experience** - Proven experience as a Product Manager in large-scale fintech or regulatory programmes - Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience designing and implementing cyber resiliency solutions using Cohesity, Veeam, TSM experience. Proven track record of end-to-end ownership, including: - Solution architecture and design, Implementation and deployment, Operationalization and optimization of platform capabilities - Strong track record delivering audit remediation, resilience, or risk-based initiatives - Experience managing audit closure processes and evidence-based remediation reporting - Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging CIOs, senior executives, and audit functions - Deep expertise in programme governance, reporting, and delivery management frameworks - Ability to translate complex technical topics into clear, executive-level communications - Experience managing global, cross-functional teams in a matrix organization. - Strong knowledge of cloud-integrated storage and backup services - Good understanding of cyber resiliency concepts, including clean room / isolated recovery environments, recovery assurance, and operational resilience - Experience using automation and scripting to support product and operational efficiency - Experience leading products from strategy and ideation through commercialization, scaling, and sustained operations - Strong business case development skills with the ability to articulate value, cost, investment needs, and strategic trade-off **Capabilities Required** **Business Competencies** - Business Strategy - Change Leadership - Financial Management - Industry Knowledge - Innovation - Managing Complexity - Risk Management - Produ
