Job description

**Role & responsibilities** : - Carry out hand calculations, linear static, non-linear, crash and multi-body dynamic analysis - FE models for seating products to support the design validation and certification process - Prepare and review stress and structural documentation to submit to customer and regulatory approval. - Mentor, support and lead global team(s) in multiple time zones. - Plan and manage the workload and technically support junior stress engineers to ensure tasks are completed to the requirements of time, cost and quality (Managing KPIs). - Proactively identifying failure risk in the assigned stress analysis task and providing an effective solution with the use of appropriate analytical methods and judgment - Review the drawings, designs, concessions and repairs with respect to design validation - Support the Design team in ensuring that products meet regulatory, cost and weight targets Identify structural design issues and recommend improvements and alternate solutions - Supporting root cause analysis. - Assist in creating project plans of tasks and resources for the program team for stress activities - Liaise with Design, Certification, Manufacturing and other customer company departments as required - Provide expertise solutions and lead continuous improvement initiatives of processes, methods and manuals. Good verbal and written communication skills.
