**Role & responsibilities** 1.Responsible for overall operation and coordination of Heavy Machine Shop activities involving CNC, conventional, and precision machines. 2. Planning and execution of machining activities on a 24x7 and 3-shift basis to achieve production targets and timely delivery. **3. Handling and supervision of heavy precision machines including Horizontal Boring Machines such as koda Machine Tool and JUARISTI make machines.** 4. Strong knowledge of CNC machining processes, conventional machining operations, tooling selection, cutting parameters, and precision machining practices. 5. Capability to independently handle machining of large fabricated, welded, and precision components as per drawing and quality requirements. 8. Responsible for production planning, manpower allocation, and shift-wise work distribution for smooth shop floor operations. 9. Coordination with Production, Quality Assurance, Maintenance, and Planning departments for execution of jobs within committed timelines. 12. Knowledge of reading and understanding engineering drawings, GD&T, machining allowances, and inspection requirements. 13**. Experience in handling machining fixtures, special tools, boring bars, inserts, and precision measuring instruments.** 14**. Preference will be given to candidates having experience in heavy engineering industries and operation of large CNC Horizontal Boring Machines and precision machining centers**. **Preferred candidate profile** Candidate must have handle **CNC Horizontal Boring Machines like** Juaristi, SKODA, ARMUS or TITAN CNC Machine.
