**Role Title:** Supply Chain Cash & Cost Manager **Experience:** 3-8Years **Industry:** Automotive / Manufacturing / Industrial Products **Location:** Pune **Job Summary** We are looking for a highly driven **Supply Chain Cash & Cost Manager** to optimize inventory investments, improve working capital, and drive supply chain cost efficiencies. The role will be responsible for inventory strategy, inventory health management, cost optimization initiatives, and cross-functional collaboration with Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Procurement, Finance, and Operations teams to achieve business objectives. **Key Responsibilities** **Inventory Strategy & Working Capital Management** - Define and execute inventory strategies to balance customer service levels, cash flow, and operational efficiency. - Own inventory targets including: - Days on Hand (DOH) - Service Level - Excess & Obsolete (E&O) Inventory - Inventory Turns - Lead monthly inventory review meetings and drive corrective actions. - Lead working capital reduction initiatives across the supply chain network. **Inventory Optimization** - Monitor slow-moving, non-moving, excess, and obsolete inventory. - Develop and implement action plans to reduce inventory write-offs and improve inventory utilization. - Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and product phase-out inventory planning. - Drive stock rebalancing and network optimization initiatives across warehouses and manufacturing locations. **Planning & Forecast Alignment** - Collaborate closely with Demand Planning and Supply Planning teams to improve forecast accuracy and inventory positioning. - Ensure optimal stock availability while minimizing inventory carrying costs. - Support Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) activities and inventory decision-making. **Cost Optimization & Continuous Improvement** - Identify and implement supply chain cost reduction opportunities. - Lead supply chain improvement projects focused on inventory productivity, logistics efficiency, and operational excellence. - Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and data-driven methodologies. **Governance, Reporting & Analytics** - Ensure master data governance and inventory data accuracy. - Develop and track inventory performance metrics and KPIs. - Prepare and present inventory, working capital, and cost optimization reports for leadership reviews. - Align with Finance teams on inventory valuation, reporting, provisions, and financial impact assessments. **Required Qualifications** - Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Management, or related discipline. - 3-8 years of experience in Supply Chain Planning, Inventory Management, Working Capital Management, or Supply Chain Analytics. - Strong understanding of: - Inventory Management - Working Capital Optimization - Supply Planning & Demand Planning - Supply Chain Cost Management - Inventory Control & Governance - Advanced proficiency in Excel, ERP systems (SAP/Oracle), and reporting tools. **Preferred Skills** - Experience with S&OP/IBP processes. - Knowledge of Supply Chain Analytics and KPI reporting. - Exposure to Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization tools. - Lean, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement experience. - Strong stakeholder management and project management skills. **Key Skills** - Inventory Strategy - Working Capital Management - Inventory Optimization - Supply Chain Cost Reduction - Demand & Supply Planning - Network Optimization - Inventory Analytics & KPI Reporting - ERP/SAP - Master Data Governance - Continuous Improvement & Lean Practices
