**About this role:** Wells Fargo is seeking a Supply Chain Manager. **In this role, you will:** - Manage and develop a highly skilled team of supply chain professionals, to align and execute enterprise sourcing strategies and supplier capabilities to achieve companywide business objectives - Identify and recommend opportunities for supply chain management, life cycle activities, new sources and technologies as business requirements evolve - Manage a team of category experts that have responsibility for companywide supplier initiatives, negotiations and contracting activities - Support governance and control programs to ensure business continuity, protect company assets, and compliance with corporate and regulatory policies - Make decisions and resolve issues regarding supply chain policies, strategies, and processes to optimize sourcing efficiencies and measure supplier performance - Implement process and management systems, maintain current understanding of various industry best practices, commodity, spend category benchmarks and supplier capabilities - Collaborate with and consult with peers, colleagues and multiple level managers interact directly with external customers - Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Supply Chain - Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent This Role is responsible for ensuring the company works with the right suppliers, at the right cost, with manageable risk. This role leads major sourcing and procurement initiatives across the enterprise and within specific business units, especially in support of Technology teams. The manager oversees complex contract negotiations, manages critical supplier relationships, and ensures agreements deliver long term valuenot just short term savings. A key focus is balancing cost optimization with risk management, making sure the business is protected from supplier, delivery, or compliance issues. The role works closely with senior leaders to align sourcing decisions with business strategy, operational needs, and growth priorities. In simple terms, this position helps the organization spend money wisely, secure reliable suppliers, and reduce risk, while enabling the business—especially Technology functions—to operate effectively and at scale. **Required Qualifications:** - 15+ years of Supply Chain experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education - 2+ years of leadership experience
