Supply Chain Planning COE – Program Manager **Description -** **Job scope/summary:** The role is responsible for owning, designing, and continuously improving best-in-class planning processes within a defined domain (e.g., inventory, deployment, lifecycle) across the Service Supply Chain Planning COE. The position operates with a high degree of ownership, combining deep supply chain planning process expertise, strong analytical skills, and ERP/planning systems knowledge to deliver scalable process designs, practical recommendations, and measurable business outcomes aligned with customer needs and operational performance. The role combines: - Process expertise and ownership — designing robust, standardized, efficient, and scalable planning processes - Analytical problem solving and stakeholder collaboration — translating complex planning challenges into clear insights, options, and process decisions - ERP and planning systems enablement — ensuring tools and data support the target process design and business outcomes The role partners across functions to solve complex planning challenges, brings together diverse perspectives, and enables informed decision-making through data-driven insights, clear trade-offs, and practical process recommendations. In addition, the role contributes to COE capability development by mentoring colleagues, documenting best practices, and raising the maturity of planning processes across the organization. **Job specifics/responsibilities:** **Process Design / Transformation Leadership** - Lead the design and deployment of best-in-class supply chain planning processes within the assigned planning domain - Define target process scope, requirements, milestones, risks, and dependencies for transformation initiatives - Structure complex planning problems and translate them into clear process workstreams, business requirements, and deliverables - Drive alignment across stakeholders on process design choices, standardization, and adoption priorities - Support process decision-making through strong analytical rigor and clear recommendations: - Structured analysis - Clear options and trade-offs - Actionable recommendations - Manage process governance, documentation, reporting, and communication - Ensure delivery of measurable business outcomes (service, inventory, cost) **Process Ownership:** - Own the end-to-end design and continuous improvement of planning processes within the assigned domain - Benchmark, challenge, and shape solutions toward standardized, scalable, and best-in-class process design - Develop and maintain process documentation, business rules, adoption materials, and operating standards - Provide deep process expertise to ensure end-to-end consistency across planning areas, data flows, and ERP/planning system interactions - Define and track process KPIs, using analytical insights to identify gaps, root causes, and improvement opportunities **Key deliverables/accountabilities:** - Delivery of best-in-class planning process designs and transformation workstreams within Planning COE - Improvement of process performance and KPI outcomes through analytical insights and continuous improvement - Implementation and adoption of standardized, integrated, and scalable planning processes - ERP and planning solution enablement aligned with target process design and business needs - Contribution to COE process maturity, best-practice sharing, and capability building **Education (degree) and professional experience required:** - Bachelor or Master degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering or related field. - Typically 7–10+ years of experience in supply chain planning, process design, or related transformation roles, including: - Supply chain planning process design, ownership, or continuous improvement - Strong analytical experience translating data into insights, trade-offs, and recommendations - Hands-on exposure to ERP, advanced planning tools, data, and transformation initiatives. **Other requirements:** - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to convert data into clear process insights and decisions - Ability to operate in complex and ambiguous environments while driving process clarity, standardization, and adoption - Fluency in English (both written and verbal) **Personal skills and qualities:** - Strong communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills across functions - Ability to simplify complex topics and communicate clear recommendations to diverse audiences - Collaborative mindset with an interest in building partnerships and supporting team success - Ability to mentor, coach, and support the growth and development of others - Comfortable working in evolving and ambiguous environments while remaining flexible and open to new perspectives - Commitment to continuous learning, knowledge sharing, and improvement **Technical skills (procedures and documents the employee has to be acquainted with):** - ERP / planning tools knowledge, preferably SAP and Servigistics, with ability to connect process design to system capabilities - Advanced data analysis, root-cause analysis, KPI definition, and process performance measurement - Process mapping, business requirements definition, change adoption, and transformation governance methodologies Sales and Services Entity (ES11) *We’re looking for visionaries who are ready to make an impact on the way the world works.
