Job description

We are hiring for **Suspension Design Engineer** who will be responsible for the end-to-end design and development of suspension systems and components such as springs, dampers, forks, and wheel assemblies. **Key Responsibilities** - **System Design**: Develop suspension architectures balancing ride comfort, handling, and durability. - **Component Development**: Design and model suspension parts (springs, forks, shock absorbers, dampers) using CAD tools. - **Testing & Validation**: Conduct road and bench tests to validate suspension performance under diverse conditions. - **Simulation & Analysis**: Perform finite element analysis (FEA) for stress, fatigue, and durability. - **Benchmarking**: Compare competitor suspension systems and generate detailed benchmarking databases. - **Vendor Collaboration**: Work with suppliers to develop cost-effective, high-performance components. - **Innovation**: Implement VA/VE ideas to reduce material costs and improve efficiency. - **Cross-functional Coordination**: Collaborate with chassis, vehicle dynamics, and manufacturing teams for seamless integration. **Qualifications** - **Education**: B.Tech/B.E. or M.Tech/M.E. in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or Vehicle Dynamics. - **Experience**: 37 years in suspension design, preferably in automotive or two-wheeler industries. **Technical Skills** - **Vehicle Dynamics** expertise (ride comfort, handling, stability). - **CAD proficiency** (CATIA V5, SolidWorks, Siemens NX). - **FEA tools** for stress and fatigue analysis. - **Knowledge of DFMEA & GD&T** for robust design. - **Suspension evaluation techniques** (road tests, test benches). - **Understanding of manufacturing processes** for suspension components. **If interested kindly share resume's on:** 1.
